A magical place at the end of the earth

We stayed here as part of a larger trip to Chile and Argentina. The windswept vistas, the sun rising over the broad plain, and the sound of the wind in the night all contributed to a sense of being enveloped by this wild place. The hotel itself is lovely, with comfortable rooms and a youthful and attentive staff. Plus, the food was delicious and appealing. I could sit for hours with coffee or wine and just gaze out the window. Overall, out of all the places we stayed over 3 weeks, this is the one that calls me back.

This was an amazing hotel. Worth every dollar. The members of the staff were extremely helpful throughout the entire stay. The hotel offers their own tours which i HIGHLY recommend since Pao and Cata were amazing guides to see Torres del Paine. The location of this hotel is EXTREMELY unmatched. When I tell you that I have plans to go again, I mean it. The spa was pristine, the pool was climatized (and had an amazing view!). There are very few resources in the location, so you will be eating at the hotel a lot (which has great food!). Very friendly for whichever type of traveler you are. My best tip: spring for the room with a Gran Paine view; more expensive, but nothing. comes. close.

Beautiful location and great hotel. Worth getting upgraded room with a view. Remote and hard to get to, but well worth the drive on unpaved roads. Restaurant is excellent and staff is friendly and helpful. Only issue was Wi-Fi became very difficult when hotel filled up. We had to do Covid testing at 4 am for return trip because of Wi-Fi. We would go back Park is everything you’ve heard about and more. Does not disappoint.

Hotel del Paine, Feel Torres del Paine Located at the shore of the Serrano river, we stand out for being a sustainable mountain hotel in the heart of Patagonia. The great location gives the visitors an incredible view to contemplate the Paine Massif mountains from our restaurant and most of the rooms. From Hotel del Paine just 1 km away is the south entrance of Torres del Paine National Park, known as Porteria Serrano, and at 72 km distance from Puerto Natales city, driving through the Y-290 route. Hotel del Paine cuisine is based in local and organic products that are part of the tradition of the Magellan Region. This, together with some of the unique excursions we offer, will make your stay at the hotel a real Patagonia experience.

Beautiful view

We truly enjoyed the gorgeous view of the Torres del Paine across the Rio Serrano from our room and from the dining room. Each evening we had a 4 course dinner which was included with our inclusive reservation. Each dinner had a tasty appetizer, soup, choice of two entrees (typically fish/seafood and beef/lamb) plus dessert. My favorite was the king crab lasagne. The dinners were varied and included fresh vegetables and herbs from the on site greenhouse. Rooms were clean and decorated with local crafts. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. We spent 4 nights in #2 and truly enjoyed our stay and daily hiking in the national park. We saw a puma the first day - fortunately from the car and not while we were on foot. Also saw condors, foxes and guanaco. Things to know: You need to walk from most rooms to the central building where the dining room is located. Wi-Fi is only available in the central building, not in the rooms. Lots of seating available in the central building if you want internet access. There is not a gas station in the park, so we had to plan ahead to have enough to return to Puerto Natales. We visited in late March. This is considered late in the season so fewer excursions with guides were available.

Stunning view of the Torres

Reviewed By lauramtorino

In the middle of an estancia facing the majestic Torres del Payne this cozy place is a treat. There is a sitting room with the fireplace ablaze and you can sit and watch the mountains through the large windows after a day hiking or horse riding.. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom is nice, with all necessary toiletries and hot water. Ours had an amazing view. WiFi is a little bit erratic but it can be expected in a place like that not even covered by telephone. Breakfast is acceptable, dinner has to be chosen in advance from a set menu but dishes are tasty and the staff are kind. The restaurant is in a separate building which can be a nuisance when it’s cold or it rains. Packed lunch is offered if you plan to be outdoors. Credit cards accepted. They organize excursions both on foot and on horseback.
