You can also visit charming and characteristic places in Central Limburg from our B & Bs. Think about: Roermond Center, Outlet Center, Retail Park, Thorn, Maaseik (BE) Possibly transport is possible. The two B & B rooms are located in a detached part of our farm on the ground floor. The very comfortable and cozy rooms have a south-facing terrace, private entrance, private bathroom, flat-screen TV, box-spring and a small fridge. Breakfast with hot rolls and local we serve in your room. We real Limburger Burgundians, hope soon to offer a warm welcome with a cup of coffee

This former brewery from 1849 now houses a modern hotel behind its historic exterior. Hotel Asselt includes free Wi-Fi, a terrace with barbecue and a restaurant which serves regional cuisine. The historic center of Roermond, featuring the Cuypershuis and Designer Outlet Centre, is just over a 5-minute drive away. Flat-screen TV and a desk are provided as standard in the rooms at Hotel Asselt. They also each have either private or shared bathroom facilities. Guests can relax at the spa center, which features a sauna, steam bath and hammam. The cities of Dusseldorf and Maastricht can both be reached within 40 minutes by car. The Asseltse Plassen are just over one mile away and have recreation options including sailing and surfing. Free parking is available on site at the hotel.
A reasonable stay
Reviewed By GaiusMagnusThis hotel had all the feel of a budget hotel, but when considering what they charge it is good value. No real trimmings but a passable restaurant. It is on a side road so it is relatively quiet and has parking available. I did not leave thinking I would love to return, but if I had to I would be chilled.

Reviewed By MR2VFRA very good value wooden hut adjacent to a pub/restaurant. Four beds, two divans and two bunks, an eating area with take and chairs, and a toilet. The showers are in an outbuilding, and apart from having to walk there they're fine. There are only two showers so you may have to time it right. I ate in the restaurant, that was good, and I took a packed breakfast ( I was leaving early), the breakfast was enormous and did for packed lunch as well! The place is a fifteen minute walk to the German border, and there are lots of other walks and cycle routes. One downside: the huts have metal roofs, and when it rained heavily at night I couldn't sleep for the noise.

Reviewed By Ellen VEen fantastische B&B! Ik loop samen met mijn vriendin het Pieterpad en in Swalmen hier overnacht. Een zeer gastvrije ontvangst, prachtige en schone kamer met heerlijke bedden, koffie thee enz ook op kamer. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en volledig zelf te kiezen. De eigenaresse Hilde bereid alles vers en wij vinden het een pareltje! AANRADER

A simple place in the woods
Reviewed By Jose HThis is a clean, simple place in the woods; It is very relaxing and calming. The couple who run it are friendly, and speak English. I especially like their old dog! I visited here for a knitting retreat that happens every July!!

Very average place at a fair price
Reviewed By Nicolas DWhen we arrived at the B&B around noon the owner was not there and the lady who opened the door did not know which room we reserved (even though it was on our reservation form) so she told us to come back later. We came back in the evening around 21:00, the owner was there but wasn't happy about the late hour. He told us that check-in is between 16:00 and 18:00. We did not know that. The room (we had the cheapest one) was very cliche and very small and the bed was not comfortable. The bathroom was not clean and had a strange smell. The breakfast was alright but very basic. Next time we would opt to pay a little bit more for a better place
