Comfortable and quiet accommodation in Schwerte
Reviewed By None of YThis hotel is located about 5 km from Schwerte Train Station, for the purpose of my visit a much more convenient location that central Schwerte. The inhouse-restaurant was closed but an excellent Chinese restaurant is located only about 5 minutes walk away. My room was basic with a tiled floor (coldish feet in March) but the heating worked excellently and my feet warmed up rapidly. The excellent hotel breakfast is not included in the room rate but with 5 Euros can be considered a steal. Neither a coffee-maker nor a fridge were provided in the room, but the hallway contained a wine-fridge, which served well to keep the yogurt cold. The personnel handling breakfast and reception desk was efficient and very friendly. Overall, highly recommended !

An unpleasant night in a cold room
Reviewed By None of YStaff was very friendly and courteous, as usual ;-) My room (The Sparfuchs Room) has a nice layout The furniture might not be the newest but it is in excellent shape and the work desk does its job very well. Things I missed were a refrigerator and hot-water kettle. But the room has one fatal flaw in cold weather. The heating radiator (which is also limited to the temperature it can achieve) is installed half-hidden behind the clothes closet so that the heat can not radiate throughout the room. I asked for a space heater, but none was available. Even though I turned the thermostat to Maximum, my room never got warm all evening, night, and morning. Having a portable space heater ready for the guests would remedy this problem.

Super Frühstück, sehr attraktiver Preis
Reviewed By Michael JEine ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit super Frühstück und netten Service. Das Zimmer (Einzelzimmer) ist sehr ordentlich, modern ausgestattetes Bad (Dusche ebenerdig), das Zimmer ist renoviert und funktional. Aufgrund der Struktur (Tagungen, Seminare) kein Restaurant, fußläufig sind aber zwei Restaurants verfügbar.
