High price point for poorly space / comfort.

Price point did not match the experience of this B&B. The room of a hotel or b&b generally is not the most important part of a trip as I’m likely to spend the least time in it, but the room my family and I were provided with was incredibly small and uncomfortable. My family and I were basically on top of one another. The toilet was borderline a claustrophobic experience. A lower price point would be much more suitable for the standard of this place. Perhaps it is best suited for someone traveling solo.

Seagull Cottage Bed and Breakfast

Great clean & tidy B&B with friendly host

Reviewed By 359td

We only stayed at the Seagull Cottage for one night during our travels but enjoyed our stay. We texted Andy, the host, when we landed at Kerry Airport. The drive from Kerry Airport took about an hour. Andy met us at the cottage and showed us to our room. There was a much appreciated Small Welcome Package with snacks and water bottles. There was also a folder with wifi info, local stores info, etc. The Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was private. We didn’t opt in for the breakfast in the morning but decided to visit local restaurants and stores instead. Great B&B if you‘re visiting the Skellig area!

The Moorings Portmagee

Nestled into the picturesque seafront of Portmagee, the Moorings Guesthouse overlooks the village's busy working harbour. Just a 30 second walk from the pier, where boats leave for the Skelligs every morning, and right at the heart of village life, there's simply nowhere more convenient to base yourself when you stay in Portmagee. Offering 16 rooms in total, the owners have created a calm and surprisingly luxurious ambience through the use of traditional yet contemporary furnishings with crisp, clean lines of soft ivory against vibrant reds. The Moorings strive to deliver personal, attentive service while matching the very best standards in efficiency and attention to detail that you've encountered elsewhere. There's nothing more endearing than knowing that some of the Hollywood's biggest movie stars like Mark Hamill and Director J.J Abrams have visited the sleepy village of Portmagee, and even sat in the Bridge Bar local pub where Mark Hamill poured a pint of Guinness behind the bar. The Moorings was home to the pre-production team of the Star Wars VII movie and you can visit the room where all the magic took place and listen to the stories told by the staff. The Moorings is open all year round. Great food served all day with traditional music at weekends. Trips to Skellig Michael can be arranged and packages are available from April to September. Comfy and cozy in a small town

Reviewed By sandiegoterp

The Moorings was a very cozy B&B. Its bar/restaurant served delicious food. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the beds are pretty hard. If not for that one issue, we’d give five stars.

Atlantic Sunset

Appartement convenable

Reviewed By Gab D
