Ballyknocken Cookery School

Fun way to spend a few hours. We tried the plant based class and it was well worth it and good fun . It was led by the wonderful Edel who was very informative, charming and easy to listen to . This class is a combination of demonstration and hands on cooking . Splitting into teams worked very well as everyone just fell into a system of cooking together, thankfully no big egos . The recipes were easy to follow and all the ingredients were standard store cupboard essentials . Catherine Fulvio dropped in to chat with everyone, again she was welcoming and keen for everyone to enjoy the experience rather than pushing her books . If you are looking for a cookery class ... give it a go .

What can I say, we stumbled across this gem in powerscourt estate! We had a fantastic tour by Stephanie and a great whiskey tasting at the end of the tour. This place is lovely and the staff so friendly and accommodating! We ended up buying the 18yr old amazing whiskey! This distillery also holds events and would be perfect for an office / corporate event!

This is an experience that offers a behind-the-scenes tour of a small working winery in Wicklow where you see how wines are made, followed by a tasting of the three wines produced at the winery. The wines are then paired with delicious Irish cheeses and chocolate. Our tours are small, casual and perfect for foodies and wine lovers looking for a genuine taste of the Irish countryside (suitable for 18+)

Even though not in a vineyard in sunny France the experience and wine tasting was far superior. A really informative talk on the process by a very passionate wine maker, and the wine was superb, something very different, and really tasty, Well worth the visit and great value for money (both tour and wine)
