The museum wonderfully depicts the "Soška fronta" and the struggles of soldiers fighting there. Awful conditions to live in, not to mention these men were fighting to survive for multiple months. We were both deeply touched, definitely recommended for anyone interested in the 1st world war and for everyone in general, so we do not forget, what peace means.

We walked the trail from Kobarid to this site several times while we stayed in this area, and enjoyed it each time. I think we were fortunate to be able to go when it was not crowded, as the walk to the waterfall through the wooded path were scenic, peaceful, and quiet, and as enjoyable as the short visit to the falls themselves. There is a 4 euro entrance fee for adults, less for children, and after talking to the very pleasant people working the small booth, it seemed reasonable to help maintain the site -- i.e. the metal bridges built to replace the old slippery stone ones. It's a unusual waterfall as the water streams down through a crack in the rock surface above to a crystal pool below.

We booked the rafting tour really spontaneously one day in advance. Our rafting tour was guided by Tilen, who was a funny and professional guide. Besides rafting we also had the opportunity to slide into the river and do a 7-meter rock jump in the river. We would definitely recommend Positive Sports if you looking for a professional and safe experience on the Soca river.

A lovely memorial to the Italian men who lost their lives at the Soca front during World War 1 .. Their names are engraved in the sides of the memorial.

Nice view, but pay attention to car traffic.The nearby parking lot is across road from Kamp Koren. Also a good starting point for Kozjak waterfall hike.
