Don't miss the trails from either end of the beach, they lead to beautiful views! If you don't have your own chairs and umbrella, you can find restaurants on the south end that offer beach service for a reasonable price. Just beware, the wind can really pick up, it broke the umbrella we were sitting under.

Accessible only by a walking trail, coming from Praia da Rosa. It's a median effort trail (don't forget sandals, bottle of water and sun blocker) but it's worthy. Bring some food if you intend to spend more hours. It's smaller and less windy than Praia do Rosa.

I've been coming here for 15 + years. This was always an amazing beach. Structure was extremely limited, with virtually no houses by the beach. Parking was on the beach itself.
Last time I went, during peak season, there were to many people and cars, it lost a bit of the feeling it used to have....

From july to october, the Southern Right Whales come from Antartic sea to grow theirs calfs in the calm bays of Imbituba and Garopaba cities. You can observe them from the beach or take a boat from VSM Tourism and live a adrenalizated experience of being meters away from those pacific giants. I strongly recommend!!!
