Reviewed By floblajWe alredy left a comment about this hotel some yrs. ago. This summer we visited them again, and again, we loved our stay. It is an old school transformed into a hotel and we love it. Nothing negative to say, on the contrary, all positive: very professional staff from the reservations to the front office to the restaurant and to the housekeeping, very attentive, very helpful; the hotel is very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed a very nice week with them while exploring the rhine valley and coming back to rest in our room like we were at home. Our holidays are already finished but we are looking forward to returning again to this charming hotel.

Reviewed By Froggy2DenmarkHow do you rate a place like this? Rössler is a winery/wine bar with a small café/restaurant – with the option of staying in the guest house too. The rooms are quite basic in their appearance – but they are clean and functional – there is everything you need – and with a great view on the Rhine. Part of our hiking package was wine tasting in the old wine cellar, including a snack and with the option of ordering traditional, regional food. This was really very good and a very cosy atmosphere with Michael Rössler himself telling us about his wines and the history of the place. Both he and his wife were really friendly and chatty. We ordered some wines that we collected at the end of our week-long hike. There is a small breakfast room, again nothing fancy but adequate. This place is far from luxurious but I give it 5 stars for its authentic feel, cosy atmosphere, and a great experience.

Very interesting little hotel
Reviewed By Angelika KWe stayed just one night but the host was really friendly, the room and the entire house were interesting in a mix of antiques and quirkiness. Lovely garden too. We booked a room with Rhine view but there is a railway line between the hotel and the river. Thanks to excellent insulation we hardly heard the trains though.

Gästehaus mit Atmosphäre
Reviewed By goldfinger0Das Gästehaus ist recht klein und daher gibt es keine Rezeption; man erhält eine genaue Beschreibung vorab, wie man an den Schlüssel kommt, bißchen wie eine Schnitzeljagd. Hatte ein DZ als EZ, Postillion, das mit 12m2 schon recht klein ist, auch das Bad ist winzig. Das Zimmer ist sicherlich nicht modern gestaltet, aber gemütlich, sauber und hat Holzfußboden. Die größte Überraschung war, daß vom nahen Bahnverkehr kaum etwas zu hören war, obwohl das Fenster nachts geöffnet war. Das Frühstück für 7.50/Person wird aufs Zimmer gebracht, mit Baguette, Croissants etc. ,ist lecker und mit 7,50 € preiswert.

Very nice place to stay
Reviewed By Frank MStayed here for a nearby family event. Wonderful location with beautiful view on the Rhine and great vines from the own vineyard. A great place to stay even outside the season. During holiday season the family run restaurant is open, products from the vineyards can be bought in the shop daily.

Reviewed By Phil RVisiting friends in a nearby village we stayed here for three nights. We found the rooms to be fairly clean and comfortable if a little dated. One of the rooms had been modernised on the last few years. The other needed an update. Beds were fine. One of the rooms had a faint smell of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Staff were friendly
