An excellent stay in the countryside
Reviewed By Jeroen LHave stayed 4 nights in this previous highway Motel. The owner is Chinese n renovated the Motel completely into a luxury classy hotel in the northern countryside of Highmoor Drenthe. Rooms are perfect airconditioned like in a supermarket cool. Ik love that so much. Nice interiored. Friendly accurate service. Breakfast is overprized 13€ which is in The Randstad at Van der Valk or NH hotels cheaper 8,50€. I was astonished there was no 24 hours roomservice or housekeeping or a bellboy for your luggage with a trolley but we are used to Majestic Barriere hotels in Cannes Film Festival, Grand Hyatt in Tokyo, Cairo or Jakarta and this is a provencial hotel not in Amsterdam so its okay. Still doubting to check in this hotel next time again or choose Van Der Valk hotel in Spier which is close to Hoogeveen (Highmoor) also. Thanks anyway for having us n treating us hospitable n friendly. Thank you so much Hotel Hoogeveen & Janine Blokzijl.

Nice hotel in a relaxing environment.

The owners were nice and helpful and even fixed a ride for us from the hotel to the festival venue, free of charge! If I ever go back to Hoogeveen this is where I will stay again-

De vriendelijke ontvangst door de gastheer, de prachtige ruimte, de privacy en het geweldige ontbijt maakte dat wij ons hier ontzettend welkom voelden. Vooral de extra verrassingen die er voor ons klaar lagen als wij na een lange wandeling weer terug op het nest vielen zijn zeer op prijs gesteld . De koelkast was steeds goed gevuld en extra fruit om mee te nemen was altijd aanwezig. Kortom een meer dan prima adres voor een overnachting in Hoogeveen!
