A wonderful find in a most scenic area
Reviewed By MalmesburyDaveOn our way home from a European driving tour and where to stay for one last night, the Flair Hotel was our choice. It is lovely sitting in the midst of forest and streams alive with deer, boars and other indigenous animals. The lady owner is charming the staff speak perfect English and you are made to feel you are in a home from home. The rooms are not that large but include for everything one will require, the shower room again had all the necessary toiletries. The hotel reminded us so much of a typical ski chalet but on a grand scale. Parking is free, there is good wifi and the food, wow, it is excellent and the choice just perfect. breakfast like dinner will please everyone. They have a natural pool which we did not visit, regrettably unlike everything else the weather was not perfection. The down side, well maybe a larger room would have been welcome as would an elevator. When in your mid seventies a two floor climb is not overly desirable but neither would prevent our returning.

Excellent hotel and country location
Reviewed By GerryGGHotel is in an excellent location for those who are interested in country walks etc. These are in abundance with beautiful parks and scenery a minutes walk from the hotel. The surrounding area is extremely tranquil and rustic. The hotel itself is charming with spacious rooms, well decorated, an excellent dining experience especially on the veranda and the breakfast was also a delight from a large selection of typical Bavarian food (not hot). There was an indoor electronic driving range advertised but it was not open on my visit. My room had no air conditioning, so I had to rely on opening the windows. The TV was dated and only had local channels. I would certainly stay there again should the opportunity arise. You can walk into Heigenbrucken and there are a few drinking places and restaurants (but not many!)...and certainly they did not match the hotels dining menu.

Eenvoudig, maar goed.
Reviewed By Ellen HOvernachtingsadresje. Eenvoudig maar goede kamer met balkon.Eigen badkamer met douche. Mooie omgeving voor een wandeling na een autorit. Prima ontbijt, geen probleem om je thermosfles te laten vullen met koffie voor onderweg. WIFI in restaurant.

Reviewed By Nadine VSchöne Unterkunft mit Terrasse zum draußen sitzen und frühstücken :-) Die Wirtin hat wirklich einiges möglich gemacht, von einem Glas Wein am Abend bis zu einem Überraschungs-Geburtstagsfrühstück am Morgen, klasse! Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber, nur das angrenzende Bad war deutlich old school.

Familiengeführtes Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Reviewed By N5214WDmariannesWir wollten in dieser Corona-Zeit eine Wanderung fernab vom Großstadtrummel unternehmen und haben uns für den Spessart entscheiden. Ausgangspunkt sollte Heigenbrücken sein und als Stützpunkt für die mehrtägige Wanderung haben wir uns für das Hotel Berghof der Familie Steigerwald entschieden. Das Hotel wird von der Unternehmerfamilie betrieben. Die Zimmer und der Frühstücksraum sind renoviert und mit neuen Möbeln ausgestattet. Das Gebäude liegt auf einem Südhang, ohne Durchgangsverkehr mit herrlicher Aussicht auf den Ort. Dieser ist in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen.
