Tranquil retreat
Reviewed By norwichgirl30Hotel situated in a beautiful older building. We were in a junior suite, which was quite spacious. Bed was okay, although we found the mattress a bit soft. The junior suites have a little outside space which is a bonus. Especially because it catches the afternoon sunshine. There is a separate toilet and bathroom. Bathroom has both shower and bath. Again, spacious. Breakfast is organised really well. Some of it is brought to the table, but there is a small buffet. Yoghurt, sparkling wine, fresh fruit and veg, fruit juices, eggs (scrambled, fried, boiled), bacon, coffee, tea and more. More than enough space between tables. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or stay again.

Lovely hotel but a little noisy at night.
Reviewed By sophia27Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. The deluxe rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was super, fresh orange juice, granola/museli, eggs etc and really lovely mix of breads. The only negative was noise through the night, traffic noise did reduce but that was replaced by noisy revellers shouting and partying on the road below which continued until around 3am ( local church bells struck 3 the last time I heard the party goers!) Not much the hotel can do about that but it did make for a disturbed nights sleep

Cosy restaurant with a very nice menu, especially considering the fact this is the takeaway menu due to COVID-19 measures. I had the wild boar skewer. Very tender! Surely recommend to try out the new (takeaway) menu. Combined with an overnight stay even better to enjoy it in the restaurant.
