Nercwys Forest

If you venture off the beaten paths here - starting at the corner through the style you are treated to some lovely hidden paths. Nothing wrong with the bigger paths but I prefer wandering through the older parts of the woods where the trees are closer together and the path less obvious.

Coed y Brenin Forest Park

Reviewed By I4996RBjoannap - Brough, United Kingdom

We walked the red route to the waterfalls which was well worth it, note that some of the tracks were like a river due to it being so wet. Clear signposts marking the routes along the way. Plenty of different walks and distances detailed at the beginning, same for the bike tracks. £2 min to park for 2hrs + additional for anytime over, however paid for when you leave so only pay for what you use. Toilets are still open in visitor centre. Note that bike hire currently requires you to bring your own hat due to Covid Well maintained tracks and would recommend anyone that enjoys the outdoors.

Newborough Forest

Reviewed By robnh61 - Stockport, United Kingdom

Met up with some friends for a walk. We parked in one of the car parks mid way through the forest so had a lovely walk through the forest before getting to the beach. Thus is a vast beach and is great for walking the dog. Entrance fee is £5 with free car parking, well worth a visit as you could easily spend all day there
