In the property surrounding the hotel you can visit the famous gardens, exhibitions and green houses, ateliers and boutiques, nature and more nature. Park open June 3rd and close september 9th. The entrance to the park have a cost depending the season. The entrance ticket include a map for self-guiding, parking and the access to the exhibitions. This is a garden a part of it designed by Chelsea medal winner Ulf Nordfjell. He has taken his inspiration from the surrounding woodlands and are only using native species. It is restrained solemn and beautiful. There is several other areas of garden including a kitchen garden. An exhibition of pelargonium is taking place at the moment. The rose garden has an unusual planting scheme with ferns as a backdrop. If you have children there is lots for them to see. Rabbits and pigs as well as a large play area and water. If you like industrial heritage there is a large building housing a metal Workshop forge which used to make iron rolled steel sheets. All water powered. There is a hotel with daily lunches as well as a cafe and a craft exhibition. This is a unique place only 35 min drive north of Gavle.
