Reine Paddling

Experience a paddling tour in one of the most picturesque paddling pearls of Norway with us! Led by certified guides that live in Reine all year round, you are invited to a fun activity on the sea - You might get lucky to witness orcas, seals, eagles or other animals. From the double kayak you will be able to see the colourful starfish, sea urchins and shoal of fish swimming in the arctic water - and if the tide is on our side, you will learn about the edible seaweed you can find in the Lofoten oceans, and even maybe get a taste of the truffle of the sea!

Bunes Beach

Reviewed By sirx - Copenhagen, Denmark

Beautiful beach within walking distance from Vindstad. To get there take a ferry from Reine. The boat is small but it takes at least 38 seated passengers. You can buy a return ticket straightaway and then come back from Vindstad at anytime. After reaching Vindstad the path to the beach is easy to find, you will need to walk for 3 km and go up a hill but it is not a difficult hike. In June there was nothing open in Vindstad so bring your own food and drinks. There are plenty of camping spots on the beach and it is very safe. We stayed overnight and saw several couples and families camping there. There are no toilet facilities though but there is a stream that can be used for drinking water. This was one of the most beautiful beaches we saw in Lofoten and worth visiting. The size of it is impressive and both the beach and Vindstad offer amazing scenes to photograph.

The owner is very friendly, interesting to listen his story and the stockfish's history and processing cycle. For the owner: I'm sorry I left without saying goodbye! Thanks a lot from Vicenza!
