This place lives up to its reviews. We found this bar online through searching around for interest bars in Tokyo. This place was highly rated, and since my fiancee and I were fans of drinking and magic, this seemed like a perfect fit. Long story short - it is a 3500 yen all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes menu with a live show and some close-up magic performances right at your table. This is the only option available, but it is well worth the money. The magicians are very entertaining and sufficiently technically skilled. The close up magic is particularly entertaining, since it is typically performed when there are multiple guests (hence a wide range of angles) and each magician has a different performance for variety. Overall, this is a great deal for its price and it had great entertainment, showmanship and customer service for its price. My fiancee and I were very impressed, and we would certainly come again.

Samurai Museum

Feel the real Samurai spirit.Samurai Museum is located in the KABUKICHO district of Shinjuku, which is one of the urban areas in Tokyo. It displays various kinds of authentic artifacts such as Samurai armor, helmets and weapons. The mission for the museum is to share true Samurai spirits with you so that you can have a better understanding of Samurai , including how they fought, who they were, what they believed. The museum offers an English guided tour that runs frequently for you to learn rich Samurai history at a deeper level. Many interesting facts about Samurai are covered in this tour.In addition, it has a photo booth where you are allowed to take pictures wearing Samurai outfits or Kimono. Also, the museum offers a special sword show at 2,3,4 and 5 pm everyday for you to watch two trained actors doing a sword fighting performance. The Museum shop is also worth visiting to buy cool gifts such as Katana.

The museum has a private collection of some of the best samurai armor, swords and other accessories I have seen. There are guided tours in English that run about every hour (About 1hr duration). Tickets are reasonably priced and includes an informative guided tour, a chance to try on a samurai helmet with a sword as well as other garments such as kimonos. There is also a samurai sword-wielding demonstration that runs at set intervals during the day (You can return during the day to see the demonstration). Easy walking distance from Shinjuku station. A must see.

The Ninja Trick House in Tokyo is a theme park styled facility which opened in July of 2016, where visitors can experience the life of a ninja. Conveniently located in the middle of Kabukicho, a 5 minute walk from the JR Shinjuku Station East Exit and the Seibu Line Shinjuku Station. Here, you can experience the use of shuriken(throwing star) and ninja swords. You can also search for trick walls and mechanisms of a ninja house in the "Trick Room," and swordsmanship in the "Training Hall," where you can learn ninja warrior techniques like how to draw a sword or throw a shuriken. The venue offers an enjoyable ninja warrior experience for one and all, from young children to adults of any age.

This was possibly the best experience on our trip to Tokyo. You get a bit a history and it’s on to the action. Staff was great with decent English. Had a ton of fun and plenty of photo ops.

Godzilla Head

Reviewed By happytravler268 - Gold Coast, Australia

On our last day in Japan we wanted to See Godzilla. Admission is FREE. From our accommodation The Keio plaza Hotel we walked 10mins to Shinjuku Station. From there We walked another 10mins to Hotel Cracery & spotted Godzilla on the roof. We went through under the Cinema complex to the ground level floor Elevator of Hotel Gracery. It is Clearly signed for directions. We took the Elevator up to 9th floor.Once there you walk out onto the outside Deck where you are greeting with a huge Godzilla Head & Claw. We got there right on the hour so get to hear Godzilla Roaring, eyes flashing Red & steam coming out of his mouth, At night it shows red laser beams coming out of his mouth. Show is on every hour from 12pm-12am & goes for about 3minutes. I would Highly recommend.
