A huge and unused storage space in the region’s biggest winery - an authentic industrial place where the smells of wine hover around. Nearly everything was left untouched, even the rough dark old walls, while the integration of a perfect infrastructure for a modern art gallery with a gigantic light system went ahead. Fabulous location which was well signposted and easy to find. My husband and I enjoyed a personal tour of the caves and wine making process with our interesting guide followed by several tastings of premium wonderful wines accompanied by tasty regional snacks of bread, cheese, meats, fish pastes and olives... the vineyard also has a quirky sculpture art garden which is enjoyable to explore afterwards too! Thoroughly recommend as a half day trip if nearby.

Convento de São José its a must go place. In my vacations i always like a cultural part too. Im glad we could find it, it was diferent from the tipical beach things to do in Algarve!!
