From Fortaleza de São José, we took an Uber($4) 6 km SW to Monument Marco Zero, then 4 km N dropping us here. After registering with the attendant, we perused the map and began our stroll along the wooden paths of this 1997 museum. Its forested acreage provides lots of info on the Amazonian culture and biology to include housing, foods, trees, and turtles. We found it interesting with numerous descriptive signs in English and would be a fun and educational outing for children. Its free with clean restrooms and available food.
