In 1905, industrialist Nylander and bookkeepers Björkman formed Handelsbolaget Kristianstads Biograf-Teater. A few years later the company was converted into AB Svenska Biografteatern. One employee was aspiring film legend Charles Magnusson, who later went on to Hollywood.
