Very good and quiet physical rehab center run by Zisterzienser nuns
Reviewed By Opi EWe learned about this rehab center when we were stationed in Vienna in the late nineties. Decided to go back for 3 weeks (May-June 2017) for my wife to regain her mobility after heart issues (we are on our late 70s). Excellent in-house doctor prescribed the right amount of physical therapy and massages. The treatment regime was intense with only Sundays free. The improvements were noticeable and my wife even lost weight! Meals were included and were of high quality. Almost every day there is an evening program- drum playing with an African instructor, young musicians concerts, group dancing, lectures, etc. I particularly enjoyed the daily bike rides to the nearby towns along the Neusiedler Lake, thru vineyards and nature parks. If you are a private patient the hotel provides a free 8-speed bike which is enough to negotiate the mainly flat area. Otherwise there is a nominal daily fee of 2 euros. There is a heated swimming pool, small gym, and excellent sauna facilities. The center has a private park which is conducive to relaxation. Saw a pheasant and a stork while strolling around. Final point: This is more a physical treatment (Kur) than a recreation (Erholung) center. It definitely not a 5 star hotel but if you come mainly to recharge your batteries and relax there is no better place. Beware also that English is rarely spoken, main language you hear is Austrian German and Hungarian. If you do not mind staying in a place where there is hardly any other English speaking guest this is a very good place for you.

Sauber und großzügig
Reviewed By Margarete GZimmer und Bad sauber und geräumig. Freundliches Personal. Zimmer ruhig. Guter Tipp zum besuch des Dorfmuseums in Mönchhof. Der Besuch lohnt sich wirklich, das Dorf ist mit viel Liebe aufgebaut. Das Frühstück ist für den Preis etwas dürftig.

Reviewed By Isi1955ein wirklich außergewöhnliches Gästehaus. Der Besitzer ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sauber, bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten (leere Flaschen unter dem Bett, Tisch nicht geputzt, deshalb etwas klebrig). Schade, dass es keine Getränke zu kaufen gab.
