Lovely accommodation in a lovely area
Reviewed By sg0ldbergMein Landhaus is a lovely comfortable small hotel in the heart of the beautiful Allgäu region of Bavaria. Situated in the small village of Ortwang, it's within a 10 minute walk Burgberg which offers a bakery, shops, outdoor nature swimming pool, restaurants and a fantastic pizza restaurant. There is also a lake within a 5 minute walk; a lovely place for a walk or a swim in the clear alpine waters. The accommodation itself was very comfortable with breakfast available but also the possibility to self cater during your stay if you prefer. They'll even deliver fresh bread rolls to your door if you don't want to venture into the village. A great place to stay.

great hotel, a hidden gem in the South of Germany
Reviewed By Remy0077We (fam. of 5) stayed here for over a week in their absolutely amazing "Alpin Loft". This is really a great place to be staying. Just far enough away from the crowded tourism places, but close enough by if you want to see the sights of this part of Southern Germany, with Zugspitze, Neuschwanstein and the town of Oberstdorf within reasonable car driving distance. Having said that, if you go here please also look at the local things to do: like Breitachklamm, Erzgruben, burg ruin Falkenstein and much more. Coming back to Der Löwe, a great hotel and a fabulous loft, where you can stay with up to 10 people and has a lovely balcony to sit everybody. Hotel is situated next to a road and next to the church with a bell tower. This is giving some noise, But non of us found this disturbing. Good parking facilities and friendly staff.

Wir haben eine gute Woche vorher nach einer Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für eine knappe Woche Allgäu gesucht und sind hier für 65 EUR die Nacht fündig geworden. Highlights: - wahnsinnige Aussicht auf Naturbad und Berge - freundliche Vermieter - saubere Wohnung - schönes Bad - Sofa - kleines Spülmittel und kleiner Schwamm in der Küche vorhanden - Kinderbett und Wickeltisch (wer's braucht ...) - Balkon mit vielen Stühlen - Gläser für verschiedenste Getränke - mit geschlossener Balkontüre so gut wie kein Badelärm hörbar Low-Lights: - viel zu hohe/pralle Kissen, keine anderen verfügbar - Bett qietscht bei jeder Bewegung - schlechter WLAN-Empfang in Wohnung "Mittag" - keine Mikrowelle - keine Spülmaschine - kein Backofen - keine Seife - kein Zucker o.Ä. - ziemlich transparente Vorhänge - kein gelber Sack, nur Restmüll und Papier - etwas hellhörige Wände
