Catarata La Mina

Be sure to leap into the cool waters at the base of this 35-foot cascade.

Reviewed By IndyKevin317 - Indianapolis, United States

La Mina falls is currently closed. I have been there once before a few years ago. It is probably one of the best waterfalls to visit in Puerto Rico because it is so easy to get to. There are other great waterfalls that I have visited in Puerto Rico but none of them have been as accessible as La Mina. I can't wait for it to reopen.

Las Paylas

Reviewed By Sundancer0212 - St. Augustine, United States

Las Paylas is a spectacular hidden gem of nature just outside the El Yunque Rain Forest. You literally pay $5 to park in a local's driveway and follow a path down a steep hill that leads to this river with freshwater waterfalls and pools. You can trek up the rock formations and slide down the natural water slides if you dare, it's an exhilarating experience and is a must see for older teens and adults who enjoy a thrilling experience.
