Sekinoo Falls

Reviewed By beyourwings

The falls were majestic. We went on a Tuesday morning and it was pretty quiet, with only 2 other couples beside us. We spent quite some time on the bridge just enjoying the spectacular sides of nature (ps you can see 2 smaller waterfalls there too!) It was easy to get to, just a few mins walk to get to the actual falls and no need for a long hike or many steps. Definitely a must-go!

Unokono-taki

Drop 20m, has a basin area of 5,000 square meters, it is a magnificent waterfall surrounded by rocks of columnar joints. Stop the car in the parking lot and walk to the waterfall so you can taste the power near you. It is a very beautiful and mysterious place.

Nabegataki Falls

Reviewed By Emily2018_G_Scott - Sydney, Australia

This is one of the easiest walk and be the closest to a waterfall. Entrance fee of 300 Yen is well worth it because the toilet is clean and the walkway is well maintained. Must visit on your way to Kumamoto.
