Immediately after my reservation, I contacted the person in charge of the villa, his name is Dan Lim and he did not mention to me any conditions regarding the villa regarding the reservation. No shoes n no smoking in the villa Must switch off all aircond n electric when go out to avoid wastage charges RM80/day Must keep clean Pls note there is cleaning fees RM150 if we found out very dirty when check out Pls note there r 10 towels n a hairdryer at ground floor Pls return all to ground floor upon check out Pls do not move around the furnitures No pets are allowed unless informed earlier No party, bbq, steamboat or events are allowed unless informed earlier. Pls note check in time is 3pm or after. Earlier checkbin subject to availability n utilities charge at rm50/hour Pls note check out time is 11am or earlier. Most Luxurious family holiday of 4-5 members or a business trip for executives, it is a gorgeous and brand new property by the sea along the famous Gurney Drive area. It has an exclusive mall at ground floor which housed 20 international restaurants. It is located 5 minutes from Famous Gurney Drive Plaza, paragon malls, Island Plaza, One Stop Plaza and Tesco. The Straits Quay Suites are uniquely located at the award winning Straits Quay Marina and represent beautifully designed supersized of standard 1,000 sq feet ( usual 3 times size of normal hotel room) Family Suites for guests to experience Seaside livestyle. The Suites are impeccably furnished and ideal for single, couples or indeed family stays.
Limited breakfast options on a weekend
Reviewed By gtbalanWe were there recently in Dec 2019 for breakfast on a weekend. But it was disappointing as there were only lilke 2 restaurants open for breakfast. And none served an English breakfast. It is a shame as I would guess many customers would like to have a good fry up on a lazy weekend.

Reviewed By 8hereandthere8Tucked away just off Jalan Tanjung Bungah in the entrance road to the Infinity Apartment blocks is this charming family owned French cafe. We have been going there for two years and it's getting better and better. In the early days it was a bit chaotic and the food could be hit and miss but they have really worked hard to improve the service and the food. They cook their bread croissants and pastries for breakfast. They offer an excellent three course lunch for 30 ringgit (fantastic value) and the dinner menu is enhanced by their specials. We usually take our own wine and now we don't get charged corkage. You can sit inside or outside. No views but the food and intimate atmosphere more than make up for this.

Reviewed By ryan vI was waiting for my sister to book a room at this place. And while waiting i parked the car at an empty parking space and waited for her. Suddenly a guy in red shirt came and asked me in a rough tone "are you blind? Didn't you see me standing over there? I'm a security guard here and you cannot park here!" Woah man are you serious? I'm gonna be your guest here and you're being this rude? I hope their hotel management could do better finding some other worker that doesn't go around asking people if they are blind or not.

Reviewed By Lugosi915We stayed 1N in the resort at Lily Villa, the staff in charge was very helpful and welcoming. He tries his best to help whenever we needed help. Road on the way up is bad and narrow, and limited (very small) signage. Be extra careful if you plan to self-drive. Many woods (stairs, balcony, etc.) are aged and in need of maintenance / replacement, it could be dangerous for kids (or even adults) if they are not careful enough. Fridge (freezer) in the villa really needs de-froze and cleaning. It smells so bad until we dare not put our food inside. Ice build up in the freezer covers almost of of the space, we had to remove some to put our drinks (no, you can't chill you drink in the fridge but to put in the freezer). One last & most important thing! It's best that the owner pre-warn your client (especially those who booked Lily) if there are any groups/company coming for team building. If needed, why not check with your client if they want to swap/change the room type, I'm sure most of them will say yes. We had one group coming for team building at the pool during our stay, they utilize the pool whole afternoon (until dawn) so we can't actually enjoy/relax at the pool but to suffer with their inconsiderate noise WHOLE AFTERNOON! FYI, Lily is the villa that is facing swimming pool, so think twice before booking this unit. Overall it is an enjoyable trip, despite the noise.

Ideal for Large Family/Group

This guest house, which is located on a hilly and quiet area, is so very complete and comfortable with 4 double bedrooms all with attached bathrooms, 1 maid's room, fully equiped kitchen cum dining hall, living area spread over 4 levels. No amenities provided and bath towels only. All rooms have air conditioners and ceiling fans The house is very spacious and is like a home away from home. The beach is a short walk away. Only downside is that there are no eateries/shops in the vicinity which could be a big problem for foreign guests with no personal transportation. There is also free Wifi available.

Reviewed By ChiewwayI have my family trip at Penang staying in the villa last week. It is a 3 storey bungalow with 5 rooms. The villa is halfway the small hill, hence you need a car to go there. It is 5min drive to beach, not by walking (Don't really think people will walk down the small hill and to the beach) However, since it is located on the small hill hence you can have a better panoramic view of the sea. Not bad. The villa is not a total new one, yet it maintained clean. Thumbs up. Nevertheless proper maintenance job still very much needed from time to time as some floor tiles start coming off. I spend RM 1250(included GST and service charge) for this villa for one night for my family. Not cheap. Too bad no swimming pool as per informed. Feel cheated. Do call them more earlier before you reach to avoid time wasted and mood spoiled.
