Beautiful grounds & friendly staff
Reviewed By MyTravelingPandaWe had a lovely stay at the Villa Garden. The grounds are really pretty and the staff is very friendly and hospitable. The location is not far from the center (about a five minute drive), but bear in mind the road is very steep. Our room was very small and a few additions would make it more comfortable. Such as more hooks and towel racks (as those in our room were stuck on the wall & the weight of a towel felt too heavy to hold it up). A chair or two, even outside would have been a plus as well. But honestly, for the price, this accommodation can’t be beat!

Equipped with "ANGOLO COTTURA" and different comforts, they are like real Mini / Apartments (studios). In addition, every morning we offer a small "Italian Breakfast" absolutely free. The property is located in a quiet and green area of Tropea with sea view, 900 meters from the sea, 800 meters from the center (supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, bar, bank and shops ...) and 1.7 Km From the Old Town.

Beautifully furnished and decorated, right on the beach with crystal clear waters, and near the ancient town of Tropea (could be straight out of a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark!). Alessandro looks after his guests like his own family, and is backed up by Mari-Franca, Enrico and master Chef Maria. We can't wait to return! Only go if you truly value home from home living.

Reviewed By Vera NThe place its located in Capo Vaticano Calabria a place with a wonderful sea, and from the swimming pool located in the Villa you can see it . The apartments are small but offer everything you need, a kitchen,a bathroom and a bedroom with closet. The apartments are super clean because the staff washes them accurately as soon as the client leaves. There is a large swimming pool with solarium and a tv area with a big screen,they also organize Karaoke nights *although there should be more english Music ..hehe..If you come by car there is enough space for you to park your car as well. The owners were super nice with us,took us around since we did not have the car and showed us the place. Graziella is very welcoming and her children are very well educated and well mannered and they took deep pride in their work...The price is worth the quality. If I ever come back to this place I would return in this apartments Thank you for the nice trip

Reviewed By Enzo560Have stayed overnight at the beginning of a short trip to the Cosenza area in Calabria. Rooms were impeccably presented and the dinner cooked by Simone, a young promising chef, was outstanding. There is also a pool in a well kept garden overlooking the town and the sea. Nothing else to say. Everything was nice and tidy. Mrs. Catalano turned out to be a perfect hostess. Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte all'inizio di un viaggio nell'area di Cosenza in Calabria. Le stanze erano in impeccabili consizioni e la cena cucinata da Simone un giovane promettente chef era veramente molto buona. C'e' anche una piscina in un giardino ben tenuto con belle vedute della citta' e del mare. la Sig.ra catalano e' stata una perfetta padrona di casa.;

Charm, comfort and service
Reviewed By Agostino FWe spent three nights at Villa Florio late August to visit Tropea and the neighboring beaches. We arrived late and Francesco welcomed us and put us in a beautiful room in the main residence. The room is like the pictures - well appointed and comfortable, most importantly - we had a terrace where we could have our breakfast. The team was is so great that they made a point to get us greek yogurt and all-wheat cereals that we mentioned - what a delicious surprise! We were pleased to meet the entire family with Giovanni, his wife and daughter, and la mama. They are all very sweet and helpful, offering advice for restaurants and how to best access Tropea, which is only 10 minutes away. With its strategic location and the reasonable prices, Villa Florio offers service, convenience and value. Most importantly, it feels like a very private experience on a gorgeous property. We can definitely recommend Villa Florio and look forward to be back soon.

Reviewed By VickyHallidayWe loved this place and the staff were great. The location was great and breakfast was really nice. My only real complaint was none of our European adaptors fitted in the sockets in the bedroom, so we had to charge our phones using the socket above the bidet ?
