We used Reveler Tours (Blaine) to design a custom travel itinerary for my family of 4 (including 2 tweenagers) in the Western Cape of South Africa. It was UNBELIEVABLE and every single member of my family said it was the most epic thing we've ever done (and we've visited over 10 countries together as a family). Buy any of the tours you see on Trip Advisor, head to their website and book anything you see there, or call Blaine and have him design something unique for you. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. We consider him a lifelong friend and can't wait to come back and book another experience with him.

My wife and I visited Cape Town on our honeymoon, but wanted a chance to see the city without missing anything. Thankfully we had Richard by our side. He was very friendly, and knowledgeable about Cape Town - knew all the spots for eating, views, beaches etc. He's photography skills also came in handy especially when we were at vantage points for the perfect Instagram shot. Definitely a trip to remember and definitely a guide I cannot recommend enough. Look him up next time you're in Cape Town. Thanx Richard!

My favorite part was honestly the tour guide. Mukhtar was absolutely amazing. Very professional. Polite. And very informative. We learned more about Cape Town than ever before. Definitely will come back again

5. Full day Ceres and Bainskloof trike tour.

Cape Town Trike Tours

Travelling on a trike means that you are part of the environment in which you are riding. You get to see and smell all that nature offers unlike sitting in a stuffy bus with strangers which only offers you a partial view of the area that you are travelling through. This is a very scenic tour starting in Cape Town. We'll travel down the N1 up and over the Du Toits Kloof pass with a photo stop and a chance to admire the stunning scenery from the top of this mountain pass. From here it’s down to Rawsonville where we'll turn off to Slanghoek riding through the amazingly beautiful Slanghoek valley. From there it's to Wolseley and Ceres where we’ll stop for something to eat. The return trip will take us over the magnificent and historic Bains Kloof pass to the quaint town of Wellington for a drink stop. From here we’ll make our way back home via the historic town of Paarl and the N1 motorway where we will have to unfortunately say good bye to each other at your hotel or guesthouse.

Cape Town Trike Tours for the most exciting and novel way to see the beautiful Cape Peninsula (in my opinion). From collection to drop off( 9am to 5pm) we had the most memorable experience. Willem is a very knowledgeable guide and safe driver. We discovered a few firsts, which we had never explored before. Along the Atlantic Seaboard we could take a longer look at the exquisite seafront properties which are built on the steep slopes of Table Mountain. The curving Chapmans Peak drive (with 114 curves, Willem did admit he had not 'yet' counted them) by trike is just something one has to experience as is the long downward ride into Hout Bay. We enjoyed the smells of the ocean, the tree lined roads and the fynbos. If you are looking for something different, safe and exhilarating to do we can only recommend Cape Town Trike Tours. We previously booked the full day Hermanus and Whale Route tour as with this tour we were left with wonderful long lasting memories. Thank you Willem

6. Historic Church Street Walk

33 Van Der Stel St, Tulbagh, 6820, South Africa Jayson Augustyn-Clark

Depending on your interest levels the tour can be as long as two hours, as I weave you through the history of the valley and the centuries of colonial development which came to create Tulabgh. The reconstruction of the street after the earthquake of 1969 will be unpacked in its sociology-political situation to understand why the street was restored as it was. Where possible we will go into some of the houses to understand the development of Cape vernacular architecture from 1745 to 1902.

7. 3-day Cape Town, Cederberg and Karoo Motorcycle Ghost Ride

The Old Timber Yard, 27 7th Ave, Maitland, Cape Town, 7405, South Africa Ride Down South

This motorcycle tour will immerse you in some of the most breathtaking scenery in South Africa. We will ride stunning coastal roads, nine mountain passes and thrilling gravel roads that stretch on through vast, empty landscapes. This tour is also a ghost ride. We'll ride along paths trod by a captivating cast of heroes who shaped the life of South Africa. We'll track the beginning and end of Nelson Mandela's time in prison. We'll encounter the legend of the Watcher of the South and the creation of Table Mountain as told in Xhosa mythology. We'll discover how the mountains we ride in were used to measure the size of the Southern Hemisphere. We'll see how the water that flows from Table Mountain made it possible to build a trading station - and eventually a city here. We are confident this tour will give you lifelong memories of incredible motorcycling and a group of new friends: ghosts from the past as well as the Ride Down South crew.

We were a group of family of 6 and enjoyed every second. The driver was very informative. Our first stop was LilyPatrick, which is a new brewery and it was unforgettable. In our group was a few anti beer and brqndy drinkers, but they partook every time and it was hilarious.

9. Tulbagh Historical Tour

Breakwater Lookout Point, Unnamed Road, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, 8002, South Africa Andy`s tours and shuttles

Situated in the Tulbagh Valley bounded by the Witsenberg in the East, The Winterhoek range in the north and the Sarons, Obiekwa and Waterval (waterfall) mountains in the west. This fertile valley with two prominent rivers running through it, the north flowing Berg River and the south- flowing Breede Riverand has a long history dating back further than 1699, named after Dutch Cape Colony Govenor Ryk Tulbagh originally called Het Land van Waveren. This basin has been inhabited by the Khoi and Bushman people for thousands of years. A Dutch Reformed church was built in 1743 for the congregation, The Drostdy (magistrates) residence was built in 1806, designed by architect Louis Thibault, located 4km`s north of the town and is now a museum which exhibits fine period furniture and porcelain. 10. 3-day eBike - Cederberg Wilderness Experience

Breakwater Lookout Point, Unnamed Road, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, 8002, South Africa eBike Routes

The Cederberg lies 200km north of Cape Town, stretching from the Middelberg Pass in Citrusdal to north of the Pakhuis Pass at Clanwilliam. The wilderness area encompasses about 71 000 hectares of rugged, mountainous terrain, making it a top spot in the Western Cape for cycling with its dramatic views. The Cederberg is a World Heritage Site and is a well-known mountain bike destination. There are many gravel roads, jeep tracks and single tracks to challenge riders of all abilities.
