A modern building houses the Benedictine monks at a very pleasant location. Situated at the Rua do Observatório, a winding road at the highest point (so it seems) in Vinhedo, this is an isolated place that provides a welcome pause from the noise in the highways around the area. There is plenty of parking space in the front amid the Gardens. The interior of the monastery, with its concrete walls and ceiling, is quite austere. There is a shop where you can find a wide choice of religious items together with specialties such as bread, honey and marmelades.

Lugar muito bonito, o sítio possui loja que comercializa vinho, licor e suco de marca própria, tem degustação e muitos produtos de marcas da região, também uma cantina com salgados, doces, açaí, etc.
Pode-se visitar as plantações, melhor época para isso é de outubro em diante, pois várias frutas estão no auge da colheita, também tem alguns bichos (pavão, galinha, patos).
Consegui chegar porque já tinha um informativo que peguei numa feira. Poucas placas indicadores, mas o pessoal da cidade conhece e indica.

A privileged place that provides a view of the surrounding valley, including most of Vinhedo. Following the tradition, there is a statue of the Christ.
The problem here is that a horrible, kitsch, green building spreads from the monument and crosses over the road. Such bad taste has a positive side: it is impossible to miss the site from the road. On the other hand, any beauty you expect to see from the view is destroyed when you have to look at the green thing.

A Igreja São Sebastião fica bem localizada no Centro da cidade, na praça e vale a pena parar e entrar para uma visita. Recomendo!

Suspenso por sobre a Rodovia dos Bandeirantes, é pequeno e possui restaurantes, lanchonetes, lotérica e algumas lojas. Usado mais como ponto de apoio para quem viaja pela rodovia.
Fica bem próximo do parque Wet ‘n Wild e do Hopi Hari.

There is not too many options in Vinhedo, but walk or use your bicycle are nice outside activities in the city. There are two main dans but in one of them, you can make a entire contour (around 1.5 Km, I guess). Crowed on weekends and holidays, but always there is space for one more. There is not bicycles to be rent.

There are lots of lovely stores with a reasonable prices. For example, you can eat at the Applebee's during the shopping. Recently, the Forever 22 opened its brand new branch.
Of course, it is not some of the US outlets but you can have some fun on it.

De fácil acesso, a Igreja Matriz de Sant'Ana em Vinhedo, é um ponto de visita obrigatório, para quem passa por Vinhedo.
Localizada bem no centro da cidade, sua construção apesar de bem antiga , esta bem preservada, possui vitrais lindos, vale a pena dar uma passada
