Better go there on a sunny day because of the strolls you cab have there as well as the scenic route and the marvellous view from there. You can have refreshments and there are also typical souvenirs shops.

Whilst the stadium itself is fine and no doubt the main stands have better facilities, all the away tickets for my game were in the 'Ailerons' stand. The view was good but facilities poor and we weren't allowed to access facilities in the adjoining stand.
There were two urinals for the gents and one cubicle for the ladies which led to long queues and waits.
There was a single small pop up stall selling beer and soft drinks but nothing else and no food as far as I could see.
The collection of tickets was pretty painless and the ladies behind the counter very helpful.
Security was tight and I was given a rub down search in a bar outside the ground.
Enjoyed a good match which we lost but if you are an away fan and ticketed in the Ailerons stand, be prepared.

Family of five went on a one-hour tour around the Toulon Harbor, got very close to the Navy ships and spotted the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle docked up for maintenance. One of the destroyers were pulling out of pit for a Mission, so we got to watch it maneuver up close.
Rest of the tour was historical sites.
All the info is in French, but we were handed a brochure with main attractions described in English.
Tip: Choose a seat on the right side of the boat (starboard) to have the best view of the town and sites during the cruise.

We spent a good couple of hours just soaking in all the artwork, models, statues and information in this little museum on our cruise ship stop. Very interesting, staff speak very good English and are very friendly, little talking earphones are available for a small fee in lots of languages.
As we were under 26 years old we also got free entry (some weird french rule!) so this was an added bonus for us!
Even if your not into boats or sailing, which I am not, this was a very enjoyable way to learn.

Telepherique du Mont Faron

Took the ride on a sunny, warm day with three kids (2, 7, 9) and they were thrilled when we rode the small cart taking us up the mountain. Stunning view of Toulon City and Harbor, a bit frightening to look down below, but everything is safe and of good quality. Once you reach the top, you'll find a small sanctuary 10 minutes from the station, the walkways are easy to walk - also for kids, though it can be a bit challenging to take a stroller. A couple of small cafes at the top and a souvenir shop as well, and a couple of Panorama viewpoints.
You can find a vending machine with cold refreshments in the ticket kiosk before going up. Parking can be a challenge, come early morning to avoid parallel parking in a side street. Note the opening hours - 10.00-19.45.

I bought a combined ticket for this museum with a two-way ticket for the telepherique. The museum is quite small and brings some interesting information on the landing in Provence (especially maps with the strategies and paths used). However, the place is quite old.

After a walk, you end up at this little, cosy beach. Two life guards on duty and a restaurant is present. Great view from your towel. Some shadow thanks to some trees. Take shoes to go in to the water.

Spent a relaxing couple of hours here. There are some very interesting exhibits, I particularly liked the fossils and beautiful collection of rocks and crystals. Take a stroll in the grounds, an oasis of peace in the suburbs of Toulon. Free entry, take the 36b bus from Place de la Liberté.

Plages de Moirillion are a string of Beaches that were absolutely packed with sun worshippers on the hot 32 degree celsius day we passed by in late May.

We absolutely had a lot of trouble getting parking and had to circle around, still worth the effort.
