Top of the things to do in Sandefjord, as to be fair there isn't a lot else going on. Lots of stuffed animals, and an interesting history of the whaling industry- from it's inception to its eventual decline. Not too gory in the details, but in parts quite chilling. Child friendly in the animal part- not so for the whaling history

Giving you Norwegian summer ambiance be sure to visit Brygga if you're in Tønsberg. Nightlife can be a bit noisy, but definitely this is a cosy experience nevertheless. Lots of restaurants to choice from, which are ok for a drink or the experience of your visit. But keep in mind that these are not necessarily the best restaurants in Tønsberg.

World's End

All the way out you will travel through farmland and some Forests. Suddenly you face the end of the island with fantastic bare granite rocks facing the open sea. You can peek past Norway's southern tip towards the North Sea. There are some reefs connected with narrow Bridges where you can really get exposed to the rock. The waters are quite lively so don't plan on swimming. There is however a submerged pool in the marina. You can buy snacks and ice cream in the nearby shop. Bring rain coats because the weather can change quickly.

Undoubtfully one of the most scenic places in the whole country, this southern tip aka Verdens Ende, or "World's end". I'd recommend going there only and absolutely only if the weather is really nice though, otherwise there will be nothing to see. However, if the sun's shinning it's just jawdropping.
