To my great surprise they had a pub quiz (so I didn't stay long) and then I came back and they had a bingo evening. (and again I didn't stay long). But rest assured, it's a nice pub. Loved by the locals and the English speaking people in SaarLouis for business.
Very nice and friendly staff.

"mal eben" kann man hier nicht vorbeischauen, es geht 20-30 stramm bergan um das Saarpolygon zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Wer die Zeit hat, sollte sie sich auch nehmen: der Aufstieg wird mit weitem Blick belohnt in alle Richtungen.
Braucht man dafür so eine Skultptur anstelle eines Turmes? Nennen wir es einfach Kunst und freuen uns, dass kein Eintritt fällig wird

This is a truly spectacular and instructive site to visit. The whole factory is just amazing and one can just chill at the thought of the living inferno it was when in activity. The lists is nicely and cleverly explained and you can access a surprisingly high number of places within the complex (even some on the top of it). Our only complain is about the deficient signaling. A path is is clearly defined on the available information but finding it once you're there is very difficult and apparently most visitors were more or less "lost" trying to find where to go... this is the only weak point. Otherwise the site is a must in the area as such industrial remains are not that common, especially when they are so spectacular and emblematic of a region life.

Hier in der Ortschaft Überherrn-Felsberg befindet sich die Teufelsburg, die man zu Fuß über einen schönen Waldweg mit alten Bäumen, an denen Lilianen hängen, und an Felsengrotten vorbei spazieren und man erreicht dann die Teufelsburg. Die Ruine ist sehr schön und sehr gut renoviert.
Von hier aus hat man eine Weitsicht, die bei schönem Wetter an die 100 km oder mehr ist.

We visited this bunker in September, 2012 with our friends. The bunker was open at the time and staffed by the group that restored the bunker. All aspects of the bunker are restored - crew quarters, armory, galley, turret, etc.

This is a nice walk through a substantial wood not far from SaarLouis. the trek is approx. 13km is very pleasant and at times can get your heart rate up. Also historically quite interesting as there are a number of pill boxes dotted about in the forest from the last century, alas many were destroyed at the end of the war, however one still survives at the start of the trail.

One of the best dropzones in the greater region with two (sometimes even three) supervans taking you to altitude in 12-15 minutes. Awesome people, fast growing freefly community and overall great vibes. Definitely go there if you're in the area and want to jump. Also great for tandems!

Nur für das Denkmal anzureisen ist nicht notwendig, jedoch für den Tafelrundweg, der von hier startet. Die Aussicht in das Umland ist ok, aber auch hier gibt es bestimmt bessere Aussichtspunkte. Also gut überlegen.

An interesting insight into an industry that has been and gone. From the history of the development of the mining industry in the Saar and Moselle regions, through the old central buildings of the Petite Rosselle mine, and down to the reconstructed "coal faces", the visit kept the interest of us all and is recommended.

Im Sommer sitzt man unter einem der großen Schirme, im Winter kann man, wenn man draußen sitzen möchte um z.B. eine Zigarre zurauchen, unter den Heizstrahlern sitzen und einen guten Tee oder Kaffee trinken. Netter Chef und freundliche Bedienungen machen einen guten Service!
