Esse Balneário é o ponto de chegada ao litoral. Principalmente de quem vem de Paranaguá. Um dos melhores balneários da região e oferece as maiores opções de comércio da área. Não tenho certeza mas parece que a rodoviária é nessa localidade.

Filled with beautiful places and nice people. Wonderful to relax and desconect from the world. I stayed at a great pousada called Fim da Trilha (that means "End of the Trail"). I was biking in the state of Paraná so I took my bike and was able to ride along some Beaches. It was great!
Hiking is also a big thing on the island because there are no streets and cars are not allowed. So you take a trail wherever you go. Pretty cool now a days!
But the trails are well kept and easy to follow, the pousadas nice, food good and the views absolutely amazing. I would go back a thousand times.

This is the peaceful beach in Caiobá, with no waves and with little movement on the sand, this makes a perfect place for taking small kids to meet the sea. In winter, the water is too cold for a swim.

Amazing fortress! I didn't expect it is so big. Keep in mind wearing comfortable shoes to get to the top. You will find more interesting strengthening and guns from 1910 year. You will see gorgeous gulf and the ocean. Also there is an informative book shop with history maps and friendly researcher, which will provide any clarifications you need.
One thing i wish to the fortress responsible department - save the historic heritage from destruction!

Paraná State has a very small coast, and the Brava Breach is the best you can find. In summer, during the high season, the beach is filled with people and is all good!
The city lacks plenty of options, with few good restaurants and clubs. If you pretend for a relaxing vacations, this is a good option, if you prefer some excitement, Santa Catarina State Beaches are better.

Matinhos beach is very clean, with lifeguards posted along the beach. Each day, the rubbish (which wasn't much) was collected keeping it really pristine. The area close to the town isn't as nice. You di have to take your own chairs and umbrellas if you want to use them.

Excelente estrutura para crianças, com várias opções. Há piscina aquecida. Não esqueça de levar repelente, pois há vários borrachudos. Há restaurante e lanchonete no local. Se o ingresso for comprado pelo site, o valor é bem menor.

Muitas coisas interessantes, do próprio prédio as cabeças de hominideos, distribuidos em três Andares. Reserve no minimo 1 hora. É grátis mas aceitam doações voluntárias de qualquer valor. A turma deixava 10 reais.
