Jem & Pantoffels

A very special gift shop in the heart of Paternoster on the West Coast of South Africa. Jams to skincare, jewellery to pantoffels (slippers) and all kinds of 'Jems'. Visit us the next time you are in the Paternoster area.

A quaint shop that sells mostly locally-crafted and natural products. Items are very well priced. Have a look at the range of homemade jams and preserves. I even found prickly pear jam! They also stock a wide range of natural products.

Maneki

Without a doubt, the best little store in Paternoster. The owner has a very good eye for merchandising so, not only is it eye candy, but the selection of products was really nice. Lot's of gifts, including a stunning stainless steel range made by the owner, ranging from salad servers to jewelry. A small but very nice range of clothing, South African curio items & a fab selection of purses. I spent my money here & will be back for sure.

After a leisurely wander through the art shed and tt of goodies on sale, we ventured to the neighboring little gem of a place called WAFFLE WHARF! Wow....what delicious waffles! Thoroughly sharing Bar one Waffle, Turkish Delight Waffle as well as the Caramel Waffle! We decided to order three sweet waffles and all weee equally decadent! Each waffle was served with two scoops of ice cream. Savoury waffles are also available. I would make a special return trip to simply sample the waffles again!

A beautiful coastline with spectacular views and rocks and a pity about the filthy campers. Why are people so messy and leave their crap everywhere? Beautiful birds and eagle.

Oep ve Koep

Reviewed By fwfbiz - Johannesburg, South Africa

It is was truly a terrible experience at such a widely marketed and overrated expensive place the food was mediocre, the portion too small even for supposedly fine dining. The head chef or senior Waiteress was truly non service orientated inidividual. When we requested more bread we were told it was finished and they only make a portion per person.. I take it you do not want South Africans to frequent. You are a real rip off. Never to visit again .
