This is the peaceful beach in Caiobá, with no waves and with little movement on the sand, this makes a perfect place for taking small kids to meet the sea. In winter, the water is too cold for a swim.

É uma preciosidade do tempo de fundação da cidade, no Séc.XVIII. Possui assoalho e teto de Madeira, portanto é bem simples, típica daquele período. Um detalhe curioso é um pedaço da antiga torre da Igreja destruída por um raio em 1941 que fica em exposição em um compartimento de vidro junto à parede interna da Igreja. Localizada junto à Praça central.

Paraná State has a very small coast, and the Brava Breach is the best you can find. In summer, during the high season, the beach is filled with people and is all good!
The city lacks plenty of options, with few good restaurants and clubs. If you pretend for a relaxing vacations, this is a good option, if you prefer some excitement, Santa Catarina State Beaches are better.

Vale la pena por las vistas de toda la ciudad y alrededores. Interesante actividad para un día nublado, no sé si vale la pena dejar la playa para visitarlo (aunque las fotos serán mejores en día soleado). Dependerá del interés de cada uno. Se ve la playa central, el centro de Guaratuba, la playa de Brejatuba y la playa de Caiobá. Lindo para distraer a los niños. Subida tranquila, sin mayor desgaste físico. La visita no dura más de 1 hora.

Matinhos beach is very clean, with lifeguards posted along the beach. Each day, the rubbish (which wasn't much) was collected keeping it really pristine. The area close to the town isn't as nice. You di have to take your own chairs and umbrellas if you want to use them.

Excelente estrutura para crianças, com várias opções. Há piscina aquecida. Não esqueça de levar repelente, pois há vários borrachudos. Há restaurante e lanchonete no local. Se o ingresso for comprado pelo site, o valor é bem menor.

I had the opportunity to travel with a Family of Friends from Curitiba to Caieiras Beach in Guaratuba, and this Beach is really outstanding. It has safe environment for Families, and also has beach patrol and life savers. There are facilities with services and several places to buy food. Really a great experience overall.

Praia com extensa faixa de areia. Mar mais bravo que "puxa". Preste atenção nos pontos com as bandeiras marcando se é possível, ou não, entrar no mar.

O local é pouco frequentado por turistas por não haver divulgação nem melhorias no parque. O acesso é ruim e não tem pessoal de apoio, tornando o local perigoso. Não vá sozinho !
