Floating Market Lembang

Reviewed By FerraIceberg - Singapore, Singapore

Had wanted to visit on a weekday but due to time constrain, we came on a saturday morning.
It was a touristy place with huge carparks and tour buses..extremely crowded and we ended up spending little time here.
Entrance fees were reasonable and we were able to exchange for cold or hot drinks. It suddenly rained, so it felt great to sip a hot drink, then.
The place was very scenic with food sold on boats..however, it was inconvenient that we had to change coins a few times as we did not want to change excess for fear of not utilising.
The entrance welcomes you with a nice Japanese concept. With bamboo huts to rest and japanese architecturals. A great place for photo takings and creating new memories.
Young or old will love this place. Just take note that lots of walking required. Games and entertainments are available for kids with required ticket purchase.
Few small animals around and lots of souveniour shops available.
Would love to spend more time here, however, the time and crowd does not permit.

If you are an admirer of art and beauty, your soul will feel satisfied and pampered while visiting this place. Consisting of two areas, NuArt provides galleries in indoor and outdoor form. NuArt and its entire region belong to Nyoman Nuarta. Some of Nyoman Nuarta's famous works include Garuda Wisnu Kencana in Bali, Arjuna Wiwaha in Jakarta, Jalesviva Jayamahe statue in Surabaya.
The charming NuArt Gallery building architecture with the exterior environment is very beautiful and well preserved. Overall this place looks beautiful, artistic and elegant.
The entrance fee of one person isIDR 50,000. I highly recommend this place.

Pertapaan Karmel OCD

Tucked away in a corner of Lembang town, this place is easily missed if one does not consciously look for it. A beautiful contemporary design church with minimalist decor. Look out for the manicured garden walkway behind the church that Roman Catholics would well identify with as well as the grotto dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. A serene place to be in the midst of a busy day for a moment of peace and contemplation and maybe a prayer or two.

Tangkuban Perahu

Reviewed By Sharad V - Singapore, Singapore

Indonesia is located on the Pacific ring of fire. Bandung & surrounding area of Garut has several hot spring & lava sites. ‘Tangkuban Perahu’ Crater is a volcano situated around 30 kms north of Bandung city. In Sundanese language it means upturned boat. There is an illustration of the story in picture form on the outer wall of watchtower. The entry fee to this area is around US $ 15 per person & the first tourist attraction is Domas crater where one can boil eggs in hot water. It closes at 5 PM. From the top of the hill one can see queen crater & there it has large open space with parking, a watch tower, fenced boundary, stone steps across the circumference, a mosque and rest rooms.
While moving around this area you will come across many sales personnel who will try to sell you local souvenirs like pens made from wood with some design, bracelet, keychain & necklace made from volcanic black color stones etc. You will also notice some jungle herbs being sold near the walkway. On a clear day, distant Mountains can be seen.
There are many spots on the way where you can take nice photographs but the place gets dark & cold pretty soon after the sun goes down.

Kopi Luwak Cikole

Reviewed By Fatimahzahrin - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Perfect for coffee lovers. Went here in december 2017.This is where genuine civet coffee is produced .arabica coffee fruits are fed to civets and the beans are collected from their faeces. The caffeine level in luwak coffee are less than normal coffees as it went through enzymatic reaction within the civet's digestive system. The taste, the aroma is just great! You are given a free tour inside, which includes the civet farm and the small factory. I was informed that the factory is subsidized by the government. A cup of coffee is rp50k.. I bought home 10mgx10 sachet luwak coffee for rp650k. Worth every cent.

Well, it's a university complex. Nothing that distinctive here aside from the architecture of the buildings which may seem quite sophisticated. Aside from that, it's just a school compound that's pretty much about it.

Begonia Garden

MUST VISIT!
Especially for you who adores beauty in colors. The garden seems not so big, but it has many different kind of flowers, spot for pictures, friendly staff, affordable and nice food & beverage.
Recommend to come early morning around 7ish, so you can feel the fresh air. Above 11am there will be large group with busses so will. It be as nice as in the morning.
Try to grab breakfast here as well, you can eat in their open resto in the middle of garden, they served you food with ingredients hand-picked at their own backyard. I like their edible flowers
You can also buy seeds or veggies as well. The price is also cheaper than in the shop.
The cleanliness of the toilet is also another plus point, but I just wonder why we need to pay extra to use this facility ‍♀️
But overall, a 5-stars place
