Tsambikos Water Sports

My sister and I had an absolutely amazing experience parasailing.
60 euros for 2 people + option of a gro pro for 20 euros. We went for the go pro to really capture the experience but some people were just using their phones. Well organised family run business. Would 100% recommend and look forward to going back to Tsambika beach to try out their other Water Sports.

Artistic Village Contemporary Art - Art gallery & Museum of Ceramic Art

The Artistic Village is a family business. The founder and creator of the Artistic Village is Nikolas I. Simiakos. The Artistic Village has been operating since 1984 and we try to highlight various aspects of modern craftsmanship and culture. In the welcoming 600 sq. Metre art gallery you will be able to see innovative art works, ornaments, sculptures, special designs and compositions made from clay, glass, wood, bronze, iron, aluminium and other materials. Any of these pieces would be the perfect choice for a novel gift. Also, in the art gallery/studio, you can see original pictures which will make any space - personal or professional - look its best. The Artistic Village is home to the first museum where visitors can explore the past and learn about the art of ceramics from its beginnings to the present day. Entrance is free. Professionalism, imagination, distinctiveness, uniqueness and our love for the best are our "gold standard" for our long term success. Pay us a visit and discover our collections. The Artistic Village is on the eastern coast of the beautiful island of Rhodes, a few kilometres(20 Km) outside Rhodes town. It is easily reached from anywhere in the town by taking the national road from Rhodes Town to Lindos. Rhodes' "Diagoras" airport is only a 30 minute drive from the village, and Rhodes Town and the harbour are a similar distance away. You will find the Artistic Village between cosmopolitan Afantou and the tourist area of Kolymbia. The ample parking space, and the many outdoor relaxation areas in this beautiful and very pleasant environment, are only some of the facilities on offer to visitors to the Artistic Village.

This is a familly business. But they are so creative that it looks impossible that all this was made by just 3 persons! I had a really good time there. First we stopped just to look, and then came back for shopping.

Monastery Tsambika

Reviewed By PaulWUnitedKingdom - Sheffield, United Kingdom

We we're staying at the Atlantica Imperial which is about 20 minutes down the beach from the start of the walk. You can do this walk with trainers however proper boots would be better as it is very rocky and uneven. From the Casa Cook complex in Kolymbia where the walk begins it takes approx 30 minutes to reach the restaurant and car park of the monastery. It will take a further 15 minutes to climb the 300 big steps to the top however these are relatively easy to climb. The huge dissapointment being there is no monastery to go in just a church and selling outlet at the very top. This is made up for by the magnificent views where you can see as far as Lindos.

Magellanos

We have just returned from a wonderful trip to Lindos on the Good ship Magellanos. Our skipper Antonis was an absolute Star and really makes this trip worthwhile He has a wicked sense of humour and is extremely knowledgeable Lindos is pretty whitewashed village with winding narrow streets The Acropolis is a must see with amazing views Need to be fit for the climb or use the poor (in my mind) donkeys So if in or around Kolymbia Magellanos and Antonis are the ones Regards Raymond

Oasis Cocktail Bar

Reviewed By Vince_june15 - London, United Kingdom

I came here with my partner to have a cocktail and chill a bit. She ordered an Aperol Spritz and a Passion fruit Mojito for myself. Wow! The Aperol Spritz was tasting like water, the glass was only full of ice and my one had a layer of sugar at the bottom of the glass, meaning that they didn't even bother to stir it a bit. On top of that the glasses were brought to us on coasters full of mould which had been thrown to the table like frisbees. The guy who served us was not friendly at all and didn't even smile at us, whilst the other guys were. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Kolymbia Express

Reviewed By rachelagourakis - Esher

The day started cool and cloudy and as the wind picked up the journey from Kolymbia to Lindos began to feel interminable. After some time we appeared to be heading straight into a rock face but at the last minuet the boat turned into a grotto. The wind dropped, the sun came out as we slowly navigated the magical grotto near St Paul's Bay. From here we went to Lidos and after exploring for a couple of hours retuned to the boat. On the way back we stopped at a wonderful beach with soft sand and warm turquoise water. This was a great boat trip!!

This is a long beach with a variety of water sports. There is a taverna at one end offering a wide range of dishes at reasonable prices. Sun beds are priced at 8 euros. The sea is very calm and the water is crystal clear. It is very popular with both tourists and local people. There is nothing wrong with it just too busy in July/August, as you would expect.

Antonis Cocktail Bar

Reviewed By Jan W - Portsmouth, United Kingdom

Stayed in the Atlantic Imperial for two weeks and found Antonis Cocktail Bar a short walk from the hotel, just off the main shopping area. Visited most days for lunch as well as evening drinks as everything about Antonis is good. Friendly staff, clean, good value for money - no rip offs. Nice touch is the frozen beer glass, really good on a hot day. Cocktails are authentic, 5 euros and well worth it. Antonis is a good place to watch sport, F1, Motor GP and off course football (plenty!). Never crowded just try and enjoy.
