Long but easy walk. It is the part before reaching Ozegahara that might be a challenge. I went the day after it rains. The slope was a bit slippery. Be sure to be wearing a gd pair of shoes with gd grip! I was there slightly passed noon. The sun was strong. Got sunburnt but the photos turned out great thanks to the generous lighting. Be sure to capture the reflecting in the ponds around!

In the northeast corner of Gunma prefecture is this one of the largest ski areas in Kanto region. Many of the slopes served by a good mix of lifts including a 2-kilometre long gondola and a couple of high speed quad chair lifts are well groomed and wide enough to carve high speed long turns. Some intermediate runs could equal advanced runs at other ski areas. They keep challenging you and you find it so hard to conquer them that you would want to perfect your turns and never get bored. Mogul runs are long and hard and the steepest 40-degree ungroomed slope tests your nerve. This area usually doesn't have much heavy snow, for which some of ski areas in Japan are famous. Powder junkies should look elsewhere. However, thanks to its location and altitude, you can normally expect dry and light powder after a snowfall. Although it depends on traffic, you could get there less than three hours from central Tokyo and making a day trip isn't difficult.

平日に行きました。チケット売り場でシニア一日券が3000円でしたので、お願いすると『平日は、スキー場どこでも使える1000円分の食券が付いて2800円になりますが、いかがしますか？』とおっしゃるではないですか！！当然『え・・・、お願いします！』と答えました。イヤーお得です。食事券でラーメンとけんちん汁を注文し不足分は現金です。味は、普通においしかったです。
スキー場は、何となく違和感があるままリフトに乗り、気付きました。放送がなく、無音なんです・・・。BGMが無いスキー場って初めてだったのですが集中できるものですね。練習には最適な中斜面ばかりなので、いやって言うほど滑りまくりました。

白根山登山の際に利用。ゴンドラの数が多く待つことなく乗れました。8名定員ですが、グループで貸し切り状態だったのも良かったです。山頂までの時間は分。意外に長いです。途中急勾配もあり、なかなかスリルもあります。

１月３日に訪れました。連休ということもあり道中は混んでいましたが、ゲレンデはそこまで混雑もしてませんでした。コースも広く雪質もパウダーで抜群でした。見晴らしも良く気分よく滑れます。
初心者～上級者までコースも様々なので、みんなで楽しめます。
レストランは下に１件と上に１件なので、昼時期は（下のレストラン）とても混んでおります。
時間をずらして利用することをおすすめします。
チケットの会計は電子マネーのWAONも使えたので便利でした。

立川からバスを利用して行きました。往復ともバスに乗っていればよいので楽でした。その上リフト券付きでお得感がハンパなかったです。ゲレンデにはスノーボーダーが遊べるアイテムが有って楽しめました。

口コミで評価が高いのは知っていたが、評価の良さを実際に感じることができた。
藍染体験は工房にもTシャツやハンカチ、ストール等用意されていたが持ち込みも可能。私たちはTシャツと丈の長い？シャツを持ち込んだ。
最初に藍染に関する簡単な説明を受け、すぐに染めに入った。
作業自体は難しいものではないが(模様等にもよるが)、コツと丁寧さが仕上りを左右する。それについてはしげ八さんが丁寧に説明してくれる。
一般的に藍は濃紺をイメージするが、深みのある濃紺の色まで染め上げるには最低でも丸3日必要だそう。
自分の時間の許す限り、染めては乾燥(酸化)させてを繰り返す。慣れてきてしまえば自分達だけで納得いくまで行う。
ゆったりとした時間を過ごしたい方には良いだろう。右と左で色の違う綺麗なビー玉みたいな目をした猫にも癒される。(某雑誌？写真集？にも載ったのだとか)
水に浸けて余分な染料を落とすことで感動するほど綺麗な藍色が出てくる。
仕上りは初心者らしく多少ムラがあったがそれも味だと思える。
化学薬品を使わない藍染は色落ちもほとんどなく、洗濯しても色移りとかがないそうだ。
藍は色が綺麗なだけではないことを勉強できた。そして綺麗な濃紺にするには相当な手間がかかることを知ることができた。
また再訪したいと思えるお店でした。

丸沼高原ロープウェイ山頂駅のすぐ隣にある足湯スポット。散策や登山した後の足湯は最高です。標高2000mの場所にあり、空気も澄んでいて開放的です。お湯はぬるめでした。営業時間は16時まで、無料で利用できます。

片品村の天王桜を見た帰りに寄りました。時間が早かったので、レストランや売店は開いていませんでしたが、レストランの眺望はとてもよさそうでした。外の売店で野菜を買いました。ルバーブや葉わさび、アスパラなど新鮮な野菜がたくさん、しかもおいしい食べ方などのプリントも自由にもらえるようになっていました。新鮮な野菜が安く買えてよかったです。

片品に住む友人を訪ねた時、尾瀬湿原を案内してくれました。水芭蕉の最盛期は過ぎていましたが、その分木道は少しだけ空いていると言っていました。最盛期は木道渋滞が出来るとの事でした。最高の散策でした。
