ちょうど良い規模。
スウェーデン発の「Ｈ＆Ｍ」がオープン
したり、定期的に店舗をリニューアルし
ているようです。
ショッピングモールとしてだけではなく
コンパクトシティとしての魅力を高める
と、利用者の多い施設になるでしょう。

The Ryuyo Insect Park and Museum is a great way to spend some free time in Iwata. The area includes a nature park and museum. The nature park features several trees, streams, and grassy areas where you're able to discover animals and insects in their natural environment. The museum includes two floors: the first floor features live insect displays, focusing mainly on beetles, and the second floor features an impressive collection of mounted insects native to Japan, as well as many from around the world. Highly recommended if you happen to be in Iwata, and especially exciting for families with children. Admission is very cheap, and there's also a small shop with insect care products and souvenirs.

磐田駅からまっすぐに北に徒歩３５分くらい進むと右側にあります。赤煉瓦の塀があるのですぐにわかります。門のレンガ積みはフランス積みで少し積型変わっていて説明板もありました。良くさわやかウォーキングなどで訪れています。石段を登って門をくぐると綺麗な庭園があって、休憩場所には絶好のところです。左手には資料館もあって無料で入場出来て、ボランティアの方の説明もあります。車で行くと赤松家の北の駐車場があります。歴史的な門は必見です。

今年になって２回ウォーキングで出かけたり、別の用事で１回訪問しました。旧東海道の国分寺跡の東側に位置して、とても歴史のある神社です。最近楼門の修復が完成してきれいになりましたが、８月に行ったときには楼門前で工事が行われていました。その時に神社の方に大変親切にしていただいて感謝しています。良く旅行に出かけるので府八幡宮の”無事帰る”のお守りも持っています。大きな境内で木立の中を散策もできます。ウォーキングの途中で境内の奥で一人がケガをして動けなくなって、救急車を呼んでしまいご迷惑もかけました。その時も親切にして頂きありがとうございました。

今年の長藤の開花が遅れているのでどうかなと思い４月２７日に近くのスーパーマーケットに買い物に行ったので寄ってきました。その時は長藤の長さも短く開花も４分くらいでした。見物客は少なくゆっくり楽しめました。４月３０日にさわやかウォーキングがあったので友人たちと一緒に行興寺や隣の熊野記念公園の長藤を楽しみました。この時はもう少し開花が進んでいましたが、上の方は少し枯れ始めているところも見れました。５月２日に天竜川の河原の駐車場に車を置いて写真を撮りに行きました。長藤の長さも長くなってとても見ごたえがありました。熊野記念公園よりも行興寺の熊野の長藤の方が見ごたえがあるので行楽客は行興寺の方が多いようです。両方の長藤を楽しんでまわるのがベストです。休日には豊田駅からシャトルバスが出ていました。

Shishigahama Park is one of the popular parks for Hamamatsu and Iwata residents and is also known as the nice autumn leaves site. The huge rock from which the name of the park derived looks more like Sioux Indian than Lion's nose(Shishigahana). Maybe it looks similar to different things to visitor to visitor. One thing I like about this rock is you can explore the protruding part of the rock which is very thrilling. The park also has a suspension bridge, kiddie parks. So it is good for family travel as well.
