This place has a wonderful selection of paintings (of its own) and always has a visiting collection of great artist me and my family visited the Van Gogh exebition it was the most stunning one I’ve ever seen would recommend this place to museum lovers of any kind

If you Love Museums, then you will Love this One. It has a Great Exebition of All types of Prehistoric Dinosaurs. It is in the West Side of Town in Bockenheim. You can catch the S-Bahn 8 or 9 towards Hanau get Off at Hauptbahnhof Frankfurt am Main (Main Station), then Take the U-Bahn 4 towards Bockenheimer Warte, then you are St the Museum. Have a Nice Time!

The St. Bartholomew Cathedral tower is well worth climbing for the views of the old town, the Main river & greater Frankfurt. The viewing platforms are at a height of 66 meters and are reached via a long stone spiral stairs. Hard on the legs as there are no stops along the way. Well worth it though for the amazing 360 degree views from the top. The descent is easier.

The old Opera House was basically destroyed during the war, but has risen Phoenix like with a superb warm and great sounding interior. Very close to our hotel, a free evening for us in the City coincided with an excellent concert by the Frankfurt Radio Orchestra, which was an unexpected musical treat for us. The quality of the orchestra and soloist could not be faulted and we would certainly visit again.

Spent a good 2-3 hours at this great museum. Especially loved the interactivity and the brilliant montages of films covering aspects of sound, lighting and music etc. Would definitely recommend to any film buffs or fans of german/early cinema.

It was a grey, cold November Sunday but what a treat! Nice walks, huge glass palm house and green houses with exotic plants and lots of information about the plants, history etc. 7 euro per adult and we spent a couple of hours here.

Must see, i recommend you want through römerberg area and opera house on foot then go to main tower, you will definitely enjoy the view and the history of all the buildings you came across. I got 20% off with Frankfurt card that includes unlimited rides of public transit and trip to/from Airport.

This is a real institution in Frankfurt! The Kleinmarkthalle is a covered market with products from all over the world open from Monday to Saturday. On sunny days (actually even on not sunny days), everyone gathers there to have a glass of wine from the Hollander Hof. All Frankfurt meets there, Students, families, old, young... A place to go if you want a glimpse of real Frankfurt.

We love the market because they offer a variety of food vendors who also have a good variety of options. Plus they offer many different craft stalls. It's downtown at the Romer and in a beautiful location, especially at night. The last nights are a mad-house so avoid those if you can. It is also open during the day and less crowded than at night, but also not quite as charming.
