A vinícola oferece um passeio guiado com um breve relato sobre a vinificação e a sua história, seguido de uma degustação de seus vinhos ao final. Possui, em anexo, um excelente restaurante com ambiente muito agradável, instalações amplas e um vasto buffet. Vale a pena!

The Jardim Botânico in Curitiba is well maintained and very clean. It’s not the biggest in size or diversity but the entrance is for free!

This waterfall is reached more easily from Guarapuava, the road from Prudentopolis seems to be difficult (we only tried the one from Guarapuava though). In Guarapuava go towards the Parque das araucarias (Jardim botânico), and from there follow a small road to the north. There is a road sign! The road is narrow, but well paved until the last 6 km which is a dirt road (slow but very easy driving).
The 55 km road goes through very beautiful landscapes, and at the destination you will be stunned by the 200 m high waterfall. We had just been to Iguaçu, and we were not disappointed. There is a short (less than 1 km) trail that has several viewpoints of the falls and another waterfall as well.
Near the falls there is a small and simple bar serving several foods and snacks. Toilets are not very clean though.

Ótimo passeio e sem custos!!! Algo que é muito bem mantido pela Prefeitura local!
Com guia, fornecimento de capacetes e lanternas. Muito bom para levar as crianças.
Díficil acesso no início da gruta para pessoas que tenha alguma dificuldade de locomoção (no início precisará andar sobre as pedras).

I really wanted to visit the Oscar Niemeyer Museum because he was an important figure in Brazil’s history and culture as an architect. In addition to the museum, which was opened after a remodeling in 2002 when Niemeyer was 95 years old, he designed several buildings in Brasilia (Brazil’s capital) and throughout Brazil.
The most interesting structure of the museum is “The Eye.” At the time of my visit it served host to Chinese modern art, an example of which is the silver statue with a red figure.
The rest of the museum has expositions of modern art arranged by different themes. I am not a huge modern art fan which is the reason for my rating but still appreciated the various works on display. Other people will surely give an excellent rating.
Before entering The Eye, there is a room that houses Niemeyer’s architectural models. If you like architecture or Frank Gehry, this may peak your interest.

A igreja é muito bonita, fica no alto do morro. Seu interior é lindo, vale a pena conhecer, mas é uma visita rápida, pois não tem muito o que fazer.

Big but not too big, the Tanguá is one of the main parks in Curitiba. The best way to get there is via the hop-in-hop-off Turismo bus, which allows for 4 stops plus the initial ride, runs about every 30-min and tours the city in aprox. 2,45 hours. The park is within walking distance of the Opera de Arame/Pedreira Paulo Leminski, so if you enjoy walking you can visit all of them with just one stop. Beautiful, peaceful, with a cute french garden and a small waterfall, it's a good choice for nice weather. But the coffee shop isn't good, don't make plans to eat there.

Local pequeno que conta a história italiana. Estacionamento fácil. Para quem gosta de museus. Vale dar uma esticada até a Gruta de Bacaetava.
