Brilliant morning doing paddle boarding with my 2 grown up kids at the Edge. Had called the day before to arrange and everything was waiting for us on arrival. Never done it before but with a few helpful tips from Jack we were soon on our feet and paddling about on the beautiful river Bann. The boards were immaculate and we were well kitted out in wet suits and life jackets. All the staff were super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They even let us stay out a bit beyond our time . It couldn't have gone better. So glad we picked here for our first paddle board experience rather than the sea. During our paddle we even attracted the interest of a seal who swam along side us for 10 mins. A magical experience all round. Best place on the North Coast to enjoy paddle boarding by far 10/10 .

Perfections Day Spa

Reviewed By knmnm - Coleraine, United Kingdom

I received a voucher earlier this year for Perfections. I hadn't even decided what treatment I wanted when I rang to book in for my appointment, but the lady on the phone was soooo patient and helpful! She explained the different massages and asked questions so we could figure out which was most suited to me. Arrived 15 mins before my appointment as requested. Received a friendly welcome as soon as I stepped through the door. Lucy took me to the relax room, gave me a short form to fill in, and showed me where to change etc when I was ready. There are lockers for your clothes and personal items. My treatment was the full body lava shell massage. Lucy asked a few questions before she started to make sure I was relaxed and at ease, and also so she could tailor the intensity to suit what I wanted. Or needed I should say! Omg it was amaaaaaaaazing! ???? I've had hot stone massages before, and this was absolute bliss! Aw I just loved every second of it. Lucy certainly had her work cut out for her with the amount of knots in my shoulders! Very thorough. I felt like I was floating when she was done! Lucy, you're an absolute gem - thank you! ???? Afterwards, I was taken back to the relax room. There was a pot of herbal tea (Moroccan mint I think) and a large jug of water waiting. I was able to take as much time as I liked before changing back into my own clothes. All the staff here are so helpful, chatty and pleasant. I love the interior, and the music, all of which helps you wind down and forget about the outside world for a while. I would definitely recommend Perfections. They can also cater for groups which I've done before with 3 teenagers. Now go spoil yourself with a lava shell massage! ????
