Their main vocal, Keisuke Kuwata, was born in Chigasaki-city.
This beach is used over and over in his lyrics.
So this place is "sacread place" for fans.
Along beach, there are some beach houses and shops.
It has car parking space, but it is very small. If you go there in weekend, it would be challenging to find convienient slots.

Great park to take children. Has the longest slide I have ever seen. Also has a children's play area and springy stuff to jump on. Children were there paddling in the very shallow water that runs through the park. Lots of nice trees and quite a big area to walk through. I had a Japanese picnic under the trees overlooking the children's play area.

there are a lot of ume trees i recommend you to visit there end of winter cause it's ume blossoms season so beautiful.
there is small and old tea house but it's not tea shop... only you can see inside from window.
it's really good walk around.

there are enough cafe, restaurant and shops.
when you visit your friend you can buy something same floor as ticket gate. there are some cake shops, japaense sweets shops. there are grocery store too you can buy beer, wine, ham, cheese etc before you visit your friends.
this mall have clothe,drug store too. i think you can kill your time easily there.

この美術館も比較的近いので、展示内容を確認しながら
興味を感じた展示内容の時にはお邪魔しています。
茅ヶ崎市営の美術館ですので、大人の入場料も￥３００
と、とても安く、茅ヶ崎在住の６５歳以上の方や、同じ
く市内在住の障害者の方やその介護者は無料とのことで
した。今回、７月１６日～８月３１日まで”夏の福袋
２０１７動物美術館”と題した展示会が開催されていま
したので、動物に関する美術にも興味があり行ってみま
した。一階と地下の展示場に絵や版画を中心とした動物
が描かれた素晴らしい作品が沢山展示されており、とて
も楽しむことが出来ました。この美術館は”こじんまりと
落ち着いた静かな美術館”・・という感じで、美術館の入
り口までのアプローチも庭の小道を散策しているような落
ち着いた気持ちになります。二階には”喫茶室”も有ります
ので、美術鑑賞の後には”ゆっくりと美味しいお茶を・・”
というのも良いかも知れませんね。

Not the biggest of parks, but decent. Often used by schools as assembly spots for school ceremonies. Right next to City Hall and the Community Center.
