The atmosphere is low key and relaxed and the food is great. If you like sharing and eating a variety of food this is for you!
My family and friends went and had an amazing time. They serve their own in house brewed beer which will suit any pallet.
R commended! Will be back.

This spacious ocean road facing seafood restaurant is amongst a group of easy accessable restaurants about 2kms south of Chigasaki's main beach. I saw 4 or 5 in this cluster and all have good parking. Next door had a katsu style restaurant but as its now the middle of summer and HOT we wanted seafood especially sushi or sashimi. This restaurant specialises in Shirasu (シラス) or whitebait which I love so it was a no brainer to eat here. We arrived midweek 11:45am for lunch and it already a fair amount of people were tucking in to various delicacies(more flowed through the doors at a constant rate) . I immediately liked the large wooden tables and typically friendly Japanese service. No english menu but dont let that put you off as menu is photo abundant. You know the food is fresh when their set lunch menus have a limit of 10/15/20 etc! Also so fresh, as there was no shirasu don buri as they were limited . We ordered 2 set meals (including a ladys lunch which I find amusing as a gaijin) . Each meal (as pictured) had many various raw and cooked seafood and vege dishes. We also ordered a side dish, a recommended tempura corn / curry which was delicious and new for me. The sashimi and tempura shirasu was amazing. All washed down with 2 big kirin beers for under Y5000 for 2 was a great lunch. Other customers had full sashimi dishes and amazing looking don buri dishes as well. So as Chigasaki might not be on the map for most, its an easy 5 min drive along the coast from Ednoshima or close to Kamakura as well. Throughly enjoyed my lunch, food, comfort , value and service were all great.. Recommended!

Go for this place if you want to eat Japanese Curry & rice.
Only 470JPY is very nice for your household.
You need to buy ticket for each menu but you can select spiciness, hot or standard, verbally to shop master.
They serve curry with chop salad and miso soup. It looks strange to serve western food with Japanese food but this is still good point.
My only concern is to be operated by elder staffs.
I'm worried about successors to continue this curry shop.

Located at an old sake factory, a 5-minute walk from the quiet Kagawa station, Mikichi has a somewhat magical, "lost in the woods" feel. The restaurant is complemented by a bakery and an art gallery, which all face a shared courtyard.
On a sunny day, there's not much more relaxing than sitting in their outdoor Seating, having one of their excellent beers, and eating their very good menu (I had the homemade sausage).

If you live in Tokyo, Mokichi is a bit of a hike (an one hour and 10 minutes from Tokyo station), but can be combined with a visit to Enoshima, or Yokohama.

入り口から雰囲気のあるお店で、地元の方が多いきがしました。
メニューは種類が少ないきがしましたが、味は食べやすく美味しいです。
価格も高くなく、入りやすいお店です。
駐車場あります。

I came in on Valentine's Day with my girlfriend. We both really enjoyed the food, especially the fugu tempura and kinmeidai - I was also happy with my huge beer! Friendly staff and fantastic food! They specialize in Shirasu (white bait) but they are fantastic with everything. Great value for money - I'm proud to join the chorus of approval for this place.

Well, I have eaten here a number of times in the last couple years and I always come back. Excellent selection of dishes, great staff and a clean, warm atmosphere. I highly recommend you give this eatery a try if you travel to Chigasaki and want a nice dining experience!
