Canyon Walk

Reviewed By Diana J - Yerong Creek, Australia

We only discovered this walk towards the end of our holiday. We took friends who were visiting and it was so worth it! You get to see totally different aspects of the river. It is a very pretty walk and not at all strenuous. It would not suit prams or wheelchairs though due to some steps and uneven surfaces. The avenue of populars makes for great pics too.

It was a busy weekend in Bright and when we were in town and the visitors centre is quite small, which meant it quickly became quite crowded. Despite it being a bit of a crush, the three young women on duty were very calm and helpful, dispensing keys, maps, directions and various bit of advise in a very efficient and friendly manner.

Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail

Reviewed By jebskulker - Sydney, NSW

There's a few bike hire places in town, including electric bikes which make it quite easy to ride without much leg effort. The trails are flat and easy to use, well signposted, and wide enough to pass other riders. Lovely scenery and quite relaxing overall.

Howitt Park

The park has a good range of play equipment for the kids and the setting along the Ovens is superb. On hot days we imagine the water activities would be popular.
Several restaurants are close by, as well as the Bright Brewery. Great place to relax and take in the beautiful scenery.

FREE family fun! What more can I say. On a hot day, sit on the green grass, under the shady tree and let the kids run loose in the water park.

I would have enjoyed the experience a lot more, choosing my lollies, however the man/owner was very short (not in stature), rude, impatient and condescending. I did not feel welcome AT ALL. I am regretting the money I did spend there. I will definitely go to Beechworth next time, as I have only ever had pleasant experiences at that store.

Huggins Lookout

Reviewed By twofeathersSingapore - Singapore

It's a short drive on unsealed road. Relatively easy to get to but we missed it and drove straight on instead of turning right. So keep a look out for a small sign to Huggins Lookout on your right. The city view is nice but nothing spectacular. Lots of MTB routes around the area. So drive slowly with cyclists around.

Valley View Walking Trail

Reviewed By LC888 - Melbourne, Australia

This is a real bush walking experience but the map I printed from the website does not reflect the true walking trail. The trail is a long longer & zig-Zaggy to go up the mountain but at one point, we just did a u-turn as we weren't sure where the trail would lead us too. Due to all the trees in the way, you can't really get a good view of anything.
