Since 35 years, the association Ailes Anciennes Toulouse saves and rebuilds a unique collection of aircraft (airplanes, helicopters, gliders and engines). Our collection, which is among the largest in France, has been collected and is maintained by a team of passionate and dedicated volunteers.

The collection is quite large, and although some aircraft have been partially restored, the vast majority have not.
In the restoration hanger, a team of volunteers were working on the SAAB Vigen and other aircraft.
Some really interesting aircraft on display, but could really need some financial help, amazed that Airbus does not give a helping hand.
Well worth a visit especially for the Breguet Sahara one of only three in existance !

Aeroscopia is a unique museum in France located close to Airbus plant in Blagnac, Southern France. The collection is rich in legendary aircraft closely connected with the history of Toulouse and the surrounding region, such as Caravelle, Concorde, the Airbus A300B or the Super Guppy. Military aircraft, business aircraft, scientific research and general aviation are also represented. A total of 30 aircrafts are available to (re)discover or even to go on board!

If you are an aviation enthusiast, Aeroscopia should be on the top of the list of the places you need to visit in Toulouse. It is a museum of the history of planes and aviation industry in general. It is located very close to the Blagnac airport and the Airbus factory. You can buy tickets for both the museum and the production line of the Airbus. However, do it well in advance of your visit because the factory visit is done on a guided tour and is limited to 30 people for a tour. You can get the museum ticket anytime you like but not the production line.
I spent well over.2 hours just in the museum and highly recommend it.

gotta queue to get your visitor pass even though you booked online. remember to bring your ID or passport.
the guides are pretty informative, able to tell u all the dimensions of each of the plane models and the history..etc etc...
however you are only allowed onto a viewing box to see the A380s being assembled. can't see much details though 'cause you're above and far. its intentional of course to prevent any technical info from leaking out. any you can't take photos which i think it sucks. they could at least do up a photo point somewhere with something iconic and doesn't compromise their secrecy.
not much at the shop too...really limited stuffs on sale.
all in all, visit only if you are an aviation fan.

We enjoyed small shopping area (a limited Carrefour, two bakeries, and a few other shops) and the tramway stop here; it's a short walk through residential streets or pathways from the Holiday Inn Express Toulouse Airport.

All-in-one shopping centre located very close to Toulouse airport and Airbus industries. Easy parking and good choice of shops is making this place as favorite shopping destination when visiting Blagnac or Airbus. Large hypermarket Leclerc offers almost everything and several other stores just improve the experience.

Really great service! Greeted with a smile and authentic friendliness. Immediate drop-off with their shuttle at the airport, which is really close by the way. Fast pick-up at arrival, only waited 8 minutes. Fast and easy drop-off and pick-up of my car. Great value for money.
