Join us on a guided tour in Alingsas, The Capital of Fika. Learn more about the Swedish fika-tradition and Alingsas long and vibrant bakery and cafe history. For the next hour and a half, we visit some cafés where we at each stop sample goodies commonly associated with the traditional Swedish fika. This can include local coffee, cinnamon buns, cookies, chocolate truffles and pastries. The tour will finish with a sitdown fika and a slice of the infamous and very delicious Princess Cake. Our experienced guide will accompany you throughout – talking about how coffee and tea came to Sweden and how the strong Swedish fika-culture developed over time. We are a vintage railroad with approx 20 000 visitors every year. We are running our steam train every Sunday during June through August, every Saturday during July and August and Tuesday to Thursday from July 8th to August 7th. The first train leaves at 11AM and the last train is back at 5PM. Every day with train traffic we run 4 trains with steam engines and 4 trains with at DMU from 1950's. Anten-Graefsnaes Railway - AGJ - is a 12 km long and mostly just 891 mm wide living museum operated by a nonprofit organization.

Nolhaga park ligger i en fantastiskt vacker miljö av bokskog. I söder gränsar parken till Säveån som rinner i lugnt gemak. Variationen i miljöer i området gör att här finns ett rikt djur- och växtliv. I parkområdet finns motionsspår, frisbeegolf, lekpark och djurpark. Det finns också ett koloniområde, utsiktsplats och det vackra Nolhaga slott med park. I mars 2019 öppnas det nyrenoverade Nolhaga Parkbad som är en friskvårdsanläggning med något för alla åldrar. I utkanten av parkområdet mynnar Säveån ut i sjön Mjörn och en lång barnvänlig sandstrand breder ut sig.
