Maidstone is a large, historically important town in Kent, England, of which it is the county town. The River Medway runs through the centre of the town, linking it with Rochester and the Thames Estuary. My son undertook the Junior Keeper Experience today and totally loved it! The staff we so friendly and informative, and we were made so welcome. The animals are so well cared for and are absolutely beautiful. The Academy is set in the Kent Life Museum which is brilliant to visit too. Great for families. If you’re visiting Kent, you should totally go. Highly recommend!

We had great fun! Lots of red herrings in the game which definitely made the win even more exciting, we all talked about the game for the rest of the evening and a few people who were first time players definitely got inspired for escape rooms! Little daunting at first but you are all trained individually and once actually out it is much easier. The views across the castle are lovely. Fantastic support from the staff and the actual Segways were wiped with anti bac wipes before each person as well as the helmets being cleaned. We went on the scenic tour which was lovely and I’d definitely go on the longer tour now I have my confidence on a Segway.
