Went here after a recommendation from a friend and very please I did. Friendly greeting. Covid measures in place, paths clearly sign posted. But plenty of room so more or less free to wander where we wanted. All visitors respectful of social distancing. Chairs dotted around the gardens, so tranquil to sit listening to the trees rustling etc, Staff were friendly and informative. Warm enough to sit in the gardens with tea and delicious cakes. Was told June is the best month to visit so shall be back next year when hopefully Covid free!

Darkstar Brewery

I had a trip around the brewery at Partridge Green, with friends, which was very informative and led by a very informative guide, Graham. We were taken through the whole brewing process, from water to end product including the canning process. Staff at the brewery were really friendly and we were invited to hep ourselves to five different beers throughout the visit. The brewery shop has branded clothing, beers on tap and bottled cans and beers from their own brews as well as brews both local and from near and far. A very worthwhile trip.

Knepp Wildland Safaris

Knepp - one of the largest re-wilding projects in lowland Europe. Encounter herds of wild ponies, cattle, deer and pigs as they roam 3,500 acres of Sussex, driving the forces of habitat regeneration. Join us on one of our vehicle-based safaris or guided walking tours and experience our profusion of birds, mammals, butterflies, beetles, reptiles, plants and fungi in a setting that feels as wild and dynamic as the African bush. Stay in one of our beautiful shepherd's huts or luxurious tents, or simply pitch your own in our exclusive Wildland campsite. You don't have to take one of our safaris to stay here, and you don't have to stay here to take a safari - though naturally we hope you'll be tempted to combine the two.

Fantastic day out: great organisation of event; lots of room to explore (though very busy never felt overcrowded); exhibits were great (lots and lots to look at); really family friendly (we had a 2, 3, 6 and 11 year olds with us); great value for money. Highlights for us were the steam organs, demonstration from Sussex Logs, and the buses. We’ll definitely return next year.

Parham House & Gardens

One of the top twenty in Simon Jenkins's book 'England's Thousand Best Houses'. Idyllically set in the heart of an ancient deer park, below the South Downs, the Elizabethan house contains an important collection of needlework, paintings and furniture. The spectacular Long Gallery is the third longest in England. The gardens include a four-acre Walled Garden with stunning herbaceous borders, plus Pleasure Grounds. Parham has always been a well-loved family home, and only three families have lived here since its foundation stone was laid in 1577. Its tranquillity and timeless beauty have changed little over the years. Now owned by a charitable trust, the house is lived in by Lady Emma Barnard, her husband James and their family. Open from Easter Sunday until the end of October. Please see the website for days and times.

Parham is essentially an old house with a welcoming heart to visitors in surroundings that include a practical walled garden and best of all endless trees in a deer park . The restaurant is not run at the pace of a Burger King or Macdonalds nor does the shop contain everything in Amazon Houses of Elizabethan era are few and far between ,a bit like Chastleton in North Oxford but more refined Parham is unique ,unfussy

My girls (aged 5 and 7) and I love Fishers Farm Park - we loved it so much the first time we went that we bought an annual membership! The staff there are friendly and helpful and there is so much to do there - in nice weather, the girls love the donut rings, skyfall, barrel bug ride and all the outside playgrounds; in rainy weather, they love the numerous indoor play areas and all the shows. Yesterday, they went to Fishers to meet Santa and I was so impressed with the attention to detail - rather than just a few minutes meeting Santa, they could make reindeer food, go through the naughty and nice detector, meet santa and then finally chose their own toy! They also loved taking part in the interactive nativity - my eldest daughter was on seventh heaven being cast as Mary and riding a donkey!! The panto was great too - am impressed at the talent of the staff who wrote and acted it. Thank you Fishers!
