A Railway Adventure in Eastbourne. Travel behind the famous one-eighth scale miniature locomotives as they meander for nearly a mile around the beautiful country park. Enjoy a pleasant stroll around the five-acre lake where nature and wildlife may be seen in their natural habitats. Relax in the prize-winning tea gardens with a beverage, lunch or Cream Tea from the railway style cafe. Picnic areas, model railways and the Railway Gift Shop. Also for the children is an adventure playground to help "let off steam".
Visited yesterday with my 10-year-old daughter and had a great time! Very reasonably priced, with two pricing bands (one ride or unlimited rides) and there is lots to do! Great play areas, friendly staff, a lovely walk through the woods and round the lake, a maze, ornamental gardens and, of course, the steam train rides! We were there for approx 4.5 hours. The story of how the family who own it set the park up from just a field and a dream is inspirational too, I even bought the book! Highly recommended for families!

We walked from East Dean to Birling gap and then walked along to Beachy Head from there. Beautiful views of the cliffs and the National Trust centre at Birling was a good stop for cafe and toilets, plus dog-friendly.The volunteer from South Africa was incredibly helpful and even offered us a lift if we couldn't walk anymore!

The current bandstand was built in 1935, with its unique semi-circular design and blue domed roof; there is no other like it in the United Kingdom. It has a main arena, middle and upper balconies and seats for 1,600. For many years the Bandstand has played host to a full programme of concerts and events and has survived as a outdoor musical entertainment venue because of its ever changing programme, introducing new audiences and new entertainment's without forgetting the more popular traditional concerts. The Bandstand to this day plays an important part in the musical entertainment on the south coast offering around 140 - 150 concerts per year.
The skies over Eastbourne were filled with music old and modern and alight with fireworks as a wonderful evening of renditions from an amazing silver band ended on a rousing finale of the 1812 overture. Fantastic!!

Saw this yesterday and it is absolutely fantastic this year. Martyn and Tucker are sparking off each other once again and the baddie Steven Ferlin is superb. There was some excellent singing during the show and particularly impressive was Martyn’s heartfelt performance of Charlie Chaplins “Smile” is just beautiful and Steven Ferlins rendition of Bad Guy was delivered with rock star panache with just a hint of panto, just perfect. The whole cast are outstanding and Tuckers comedy talent shines from start to finish with loads of laugh out loud moments. He is great with the kids at the end and so funny.

The oldest Theatre in Eastbourne with the longest running Summer Season! Providing entertainment for all ages and encouraging local youth and amateur theatre groups to use the premises, alongside the big stars who now visit regularly. A wonderful hidden gem in the town, currently undergoing refurbishment and renovation to return it to its former glory.
We went to see the brilliantly funny and talented Ceri Dupree. Beautiful little theatre with comfortable seats and the staff very welcoming. Highlight of a bit of a lacklustre weekend. We had a great night Thankyou
