Lame Wi-Fi

Reviewed By ckindel

1gb of Wi-Fi a day is a joke in 2022. It lasted about 40 minutes and then I couldn’t do any more work. While it’s not the site’s fault it is surrounded by construction, the noise and reduced access definitely puts a damper on enjoyment. The staff was super friendly and the location is awesome. I’d camp here again once the construction is done and there’s good wifi so I can actually do more than 40 minutes work on my laptop.

Breakfast at Tiffany's B&B

Hospitality Plus!

Reviewed By ajaj9292

To say Breakfast at Tiffany's is great would be an understatement. We booked this stay pretty last minute as we were arriving in Queenstown a day earlier than planned. Peggy, the WONDERFUL host offered to collect us from the airport - cheaper than a taxi. We arrived and were welcomed into this lovely home straight away. After being in a campervan for the most part of our trip, this felt like a dream. We stayed downstairs in the beach themed room (Themed rooms, how funky is that!?) which was just lovely. Towels, toiletries and other home comforts were provided for us (There is even a spa bath if that tickles your fancy). The view from the backyard is breathtaking and you can take it all in from the pool if you're brave enough for a bit of chilly water. The breakfast that was provided in the morning was just delicious, we really didn't want to leave and wished we had booked our whole stay with Peggy. I enjoyed her and her B&B so much that I rang her to take me to the airport when it was time to go home. So nice to see her smiling face one more time and hear a few more of her incredible stories! Would highly recommend staying with Peggy at Breakfast as Tiffany's, I will be going back next time I am in Queenstown.

Amazing facilities and large common areas with lovely big windows out to the ocean. Vege garden and glasshouse in front of the property, and we were encouraged to help ourselves to fresh produce by the very kind and welcoming owner. Thanks so much for having us!

Best accommodation on the A2O

Reviewed By Kiwijustme

6 stars to Craig and Blanche, 10 of us rode in last night, tired after 300kms. Our hosts were awesome, nibbles, drinks, whatever we needed they were forthcoming with. Blanche cooked us a beautiful meal, we rolled into our beautifully appointed rooms well fed and watered (so to speak). All of us would highly recommend, in fact we could have easily stayed a second night, but out we rolled today for our final few kms of the A2O.

Fantastic Views

Reviewed By davidevansbailey

This is an excellent place to stay with absolutely stunning views of the lake and mountains. The room we had was large, well-appointed and warm. It has central heating throughout which is important for Queenstown which can be cold, particularly outside of summer. Very comfy bed, enough pillows, and spacious room. Overall a very good place to stay with a friendly welcome. But the views really clinch it.

The unit we had was recently renovated and when you opened the door there was that new carpet smell! The bathroom was yet to be redone but it was perfectly adequate. The next door unit still had paint pots outside so it looks like they will all be redone shortly. Very comfortable and we would definitely book again here.

Peaceful and friendly

Reviewed By willblacks

Dallas and Russell warmly welcomed us into their home. It was a very cold winter's day on our bicycles from Wanaka, en-route to Dunedin. A lockable shed for the bikes. Our twin room was just down the hall from a bathroom and toilet that we had to ourselves. Lovely linen and towels, warm bedroom. Elegant colours and decor all through the house. The experienced hosts have lots of little touches to make a visitor's stay enjoyable. Loved the guest lounge with afternoon sun, lots of seating, tea station with yummy home-made biscuits. Would have liked to read some of your books! Good wifi. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Plenty of 'continental' options. Cromwell Heritage Area is gorgeous, and very interesting to think of how it would have been before the dam. A short walk to Cromwell 'new' town and a few dining options available.
