All amazing apart from sewage smell coming from the stream
Reviewed By NataliYakovStayed there Feb 2019 in a beachfront bungalow. . Amazing spacious resort, plenty of greenery, big swimming pool, quite a choice of books to read in the reception area. Modest breakfast, but fresh pancakes and eggs made in front of you. Stunning sunsets. The only downside (and a huge one for me) - sewage smell from the stream that was going right into the sea where you swim and was also just near our bungalow. Well, unless you lost your smell due to Covid, that's ok. But that definitely will stop me from going to that place again.

Reviewed By tiny_deliciousMy husband and I didn’t stay at Mai Spa Resort but we did spend three evenings at the restaurant/bar. I cannot review the actual rooms because we didn’t stay there but I can say that the restaurant was the perfect location to enjoy the sunset and have a drink. Very beautiful and quiet and a perfect view of the beach. But what really kept us coming back for 3 evenings was the service. The young girl working was very sweet and very attentive. She remembered our order and was very helpful when we asked her to take some photos of us. Im not sure of her name but her service was part of what kept us coming back! We also ordered food one night and it was very hot and fresh. Would highly recommend checking out this cute little restaurant if you’re looking for a place to stop and have a drink or a bite to eat!

Reviewed By CTM VKhách sạn khá mới, Phòng rộng rãi, đầy đủ tiện nghi,nhân viện rất nhiệt tình, nhưng hơi xa trung tâm thị trấn, nhưng bù lại thì giá rất hợp lý.nếu có thời gian thì chúng tôi sẽ quay lại phú quốc mà vẫn tìm đến Phú Quốc Blue Hotel.

Reviewed By Việt NPhòng rộng sạch sẽ giường êm nhân viên nhiệt tình vui vẻ khách sạn khá mới trang thiết bị trong phòng mới và hiện đại. Cách chợ đem khoảng 3km nên cg tiện do di chuyển. Lưu ý với ks là đổi nước lau nhà mỗi ngày vệ sinh xong sàn nhà hơi nhớt.

Homely, Central, Good value guest house
Reviewed By PaulSiowThis guest house has only a few rooms, operated by a friendly helpful family. The manager speaks limited English, but Google translate can overcome any communication problem. We were upgraded to a quad room with balcony though we only booked a double room, maybe because of the Covid19 outbreak in China, there were less visitors. Furnishing was minimal with 2 queen beds, a mini fridge, bedside table, LED TV with several English movie channels, small wardrobe cupboard and hat/coat stand. The ensuite bathroom had toothbrushes, body wash and shampoo sachets. Small and normal towels provided. Recommended that you bring your own toiletries and towels. The bathroom had slight severage smell, so we had to leave the extractor fan on to get rid of it. Water pressure was strong but heater was a bit erratic, but not a major issue since weather was hot. The balcony was shady and windy and had a table and 2 chairs, which we brought into the room to use. Air conditioner worked fine and was cool. We loved the daily free breakfast with drip Vietnamese coffee. On the first day, the owners gave us some baked sweet potatoes which were tasty. Room and guest house was generally clean but no daily room cleaning unless you request for it. If you need anything, the family would try to help. The location was great, next to Phu Quoc night market, and a few minutes walk to the morning market beside the river and many temples like Dinh Cau Rock temple and Cau Dai temple. We bought cheap fresh local fruits daily from the morning market like sour sop, mangoes and papayas. Plenty of food options nearby, and cheap too. Some loud zumba music for about half hour in the morning and evening from the hall across the road, but didn't really bother us. All in, pretty good value accomodation. The owner provide airport transfers for a fair price.

Worst Hotel ever
Reviewed By TravelingdenWorst hotel I ever visited, unpleasant staff who knows no English at all. Housekeeping poor, always sand on the floor as well as in bed. Just got one card for the hotel room which means you don't get AC on when you are away during the days. The room is extremely warm when you return. The hotel manager thought it was dangerous if the card was inserted because of the electricity. One day when we came home from the beach, a full man lay in my parents' room, it is still unclear how he could even enter the room when we were away all day with the room's only key. But worst of all, there was no water for three days while we were there, and we did not get towels some days and had to go down to the reception and ask them for loose towels for us. We chose to check in at the Sea Star Resort the last days when the Vanda Hotel is under ALL criticism! Recommend Sea Star every day of the week and ask people to avoid Vanda Hotel!!!!

Reviewed By Jenny TToo much mosquitos.... Can't sleep well. But the hotel really cheap. You can't against with this price in PQ. They have a service for rent the scooter with $10/ day. The room not bad. But the bathroom got problem with the hot water. It's too hot.

Reviewed By cherylleeh2018Organised airport pick up , nobody arrived! Upon arrival, met by staff who couldn’t speak any English, just placed papers on the counter. Asked a few questions, none of which they could answer. Checked out within the hour. Even checking out was a nightmare as they couldn’t understand that we wanted to check out. Then eftpos wouldn’t work and they wouldn’t accept cash ? #dontstayhere
