Lovely hotel!

So enjoyed our stay here! All the staff were so nice, even when they made us breakfast sooooo early. Beautiful, spacious room, enjoyed returning after an exhausting tour. Also the area around the pool and the roof terrace made for a relaxing atmosphere. It was just outside the center, only about a five minute walk, so no problem, even nicer being more peaceful.

Hotel Desertica

In the center of San Pedro de Atacama, we situate ourselves in what was an old Atacama farmhouse. We have respected the environment and the local culture to give you a meeting space, relax and starting point to discover the secrets of the desert. We have 12 beautiful Turi concept rooms, swimming pool, terrace, garden and American Buffet Breakfast.

Very good option but not perfect - and quite expensive.

Ok, so the location is unbeatable — right in heart of the main area of San Pedro. The town is small but other hotels of the same caliber would require a hike to get to the action. The location of Desertica is A+! The property is small and intimate - only 12 rooms which are really private villas. The property and room design and decor are perfect for the desert — rustic yet hints of luxury. Room is basic but well appointed. I had repeat issues with the room safe — required several visits from staff to correct and in the end it still was defective. There is no TV in the room which I actually preferred but wifi is a big issue. It’s intermittent at best and for $350 USD per night for a standard room is unacceptable. I was told by a staff member that it was a city wide issue. I was there 3 nights and wifi was awful for entirety. Staff is nice, cleanliness is high. Pool is nice and the bar/restaurant are very private and quaint which I liked. Breakfast is also a plus but starts at 8am which is hard to make since if you tour in the AM you will miss it! Overall very good stay but for the price, the value wasn’t completely there.

Excellent Experience

Reviewed By RECS2019

I do not write reviews ofte, but my experience in this hotels merits to be documented. Starting with the owner to the person (Marcia) who me served breakfast are kind and loving people. I arrived late at night, and the owner came to the reception in good spirit and willing to help me to settle down. The room was spacious, had good internet connection, the bed was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was delicious and served by Marcia with excellent attitude. She was aware of what I was missing and promptly supplied it to me. The price was very good, an incredible value for your money. I would recommend this hotel to anybody and is going to be my hotel anytime I come back to Temuco.

Lemu Lodge

Our ecolodge is offers a unique experience as part of an authentic farm in Rapa Nui, Easter Island. We offer a mix of relaxation, nature, history, archaeology, sustainable traveling and local culture and traditions, located just outside of the town of Hanga Roa in front of the sea shore. Being far from the lights of downtown area, you can admire the breathtaking night sky full of stars. From the lodge, you can also see the sun rising from the ocean in the mornings, as well as the moon rise. With the aim to have the minimal impact on the environment, we make our best to reduce our footprint by collecting rain water, using solar panels, harvesting fresh and organic ingredients at the farm, and using innovative design in our Bungalows (glamping).

Fantastic - best on island

Reviewed By Brett M M

This review should be quick: just book this place before you miss out! Our family of 2 adults and 2 young kids (3 & 5) hesitated coming to Easter Island as we were not sure we would enjoy being in town. Lemu Lodge is perfect: the villas are beautiful, big, clean with very comfortable bedding. The dining villa is wonderful: we ate all breakfasts and dinners here, enjoying Marco’s incredible culinary skills that are absolutely unmatched on the island. The location is ideal: much closer to town than we expected (10 minutes at the most?) but still far enough away that you feel like you’re away from it all. You can see the waves crashing on the rocks from your villa or when simply walking around the property. What you don’t get a sense of from other reviews are the sounds (the waves, birds, cows, horses, chickens, roosters) and smells. The place is alive and you feel a part of it. We enjoyed three nights here and spent two whole days exploring the island using the new rental car offered by the Lodge. Our disappointments were few (and already shared with the Lodge). Part of the appeal prior to booking was the fact that the lodge is family-owned and run. The lodge’s instagram feed suggested we would have the opportunity to meet and interact with owner Heu, himself from Rapa Nui, perhaps learn about Rapa Nui history and culture from him and participate in harvesting some of the fruit and vegetables that are apparently used in the cooking (we mentioned this during booking, and twice during our stay). But we neither met Heu nor were able to visit the farm despite later finding out on our return airport transfer that Heu was in fact at the property. We have shared this feedback with the lodge so that future guests’ expectations can be better fulfilled. Overall, however, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and thank the team for looking after us so well and encourage others to do the same.

Very comfortable but noisy

Reviewed By JoS431

We booked for 7 nights, the staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly and the rooms were just as the pictures with comfortable bed and decent bathrooms, however , if you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. Every noise from our room, the kitchen, other people's rooms, from their alarm clocks to their flushing toilets and the gentleman evacuating the contents of his nose in the corridor echoed throughout the whole hotel and into our room. Added to this the doorbell rang loud and clear at all times of night and day waking us up constantly throughout the night. Such a shame, we only stayed one night.

Sommelier Hotel Boutique

Hotel Sommelier Boutique has a privileged location in the heart of Santiago. It is an avant-garde and renovated building that has twenty four rooms distributed in it`s eigh cozy floors: each one with the name of a wine varietal in particular, refined carrara marble staircases and beautiful hand-made stained glass windows inspired by Alfons Mucha, who interpreted the fascinating world of wine in all it`s glory. Restaurant Antaño, located on the first floor of the Hotel, offers the most tasty and homemade dishes focused on traditional Chilean cuisine. In it we can enjoy from a delicious crab stew, to an irresistible tres leches (cake made with three types of milk), Antaño sahres the same menu wit its pleasant terrace located in the highest part of the building or SkyBar. A large terrace with a panoramic view of Santa Lucia Hill and a large part of the city. Where it would be unforgivable to miss the opportunity to enjoy the most delicious cocktails and signature drinks.

Great Boutique Hotel

Reviewed By rlk33853

This is a very unique property. Each floor is a designated wine (Merlot/Sauvingnon Blanc/etc) and each room is decorated with wine in mind. Rooms are extremely large and well appointed. Everything was very clean and staff are all friendly and helpful. If we have any kind of complaint it is the bed is extremely firm, to the point of being hard. Breakfast is included and is a regular type buffet. What isn't regular was that my wife forgot her purse on the back of her chair when we got up. Several minutes later she discovered she didn't have it and we returned to find that the staff had safeguarded it and it was returned to her by the front desk - everything, including several thousand dollars of cash were still in the purse. Make sure you go to the rooftop restaurant/bar for at the very least, the view. We went for a drink but stayed for dinner as well. Dinner was EXCELLENT. Service was EXCELLENT. Sunset view of the city and Andes was EXCELLENT. Checkout was easy and the front desk arranged a cab with a set fare to the airport.
